Peace of Mind The absolute best feature I love is GPS return-to-home option. When the battery level of either the drone's or the controller's too low, the S50 Lite automatically returns to its original takeoff location. The Ameta S50 Lite surprised me on several levels. Let me preface this review by saying...I always learn the hard way - meaning that I don't read directions and get frustrated with things. Surprise 1: The little instruction book is very helpful and is so easy to understand..it spells out things for a simple guy like me. Make sure you follow it...the manufacturer has laid it out in a simple way. Surprise 2: Other drones that I have tried out were hard to control and honestly just not fun...but this one is easy to control, sensitive to your movements without being jerky, obeys the actual button commands and for a beginner like me is perfect. Surpise 3: The photo and video quality - a lot of things say 4K and can end up disappointing - but the views coming back to me were very good! Surpise 4: When it arrived I was taken back by how small and compact the drone was in a cool carrying case but I thought wow this may not be what I was expecting...but it has exceeded my expectations! Note: The battery life for the drone (comes with 2 batteries) and the charge life for the controller is average but both are so easy to recharge. Surprise 5: The app was simple to setup and has incredible features...it took me awhile to learn it but the built in instructions on the app's interface were very helpful. Surprise 6: The price is great for this quality!

This is my first time purchasing or flying a drone and I would highly recommend for beginners. Generally speaking, it is easy to get started and immediately feel like an experienced drone pilot without much practice. The materials feel premium for the price and it comes well organized in a compact carrying case with two batteries , charging cables, and some replacement blades. When flying for the first time pay very close attention to the quick start instructions. They are clear and precise, but if you miss any of the steps or ignore the different color indicator lights on the drone it won't fly. But once you learn the initiation process it's very easy to launch and fly. Definitely spend some time with the full manual as well, there are some other features that can take you beyond flying around in circles in a field. The drone doesn't come with a memory card but you can take video and photos in a lower quality straight to the phone photo library. Battery life is solid but probably not suitable for extended/professional usage unless you get some extra batteries. Definitely good enough for flying around and snapping some aerial pics. The controls are smooth and subtle changes in pressure on the joysticks allow for smooth turns and altitude adjustments. If you jerk the controls it will also jerk the turns and create shaky video, but if you ease into it the video is smooth and steady. Beginner mode limits range but honestly the wifi range is a bit limited to the beginner mode range anyway, so I would proceed with caution if expanding range limits. I did notice that after reaching about 30 meters altitude the wifi signal weakens which cans cause some instability when you come back down to a lower altitude. If you keep fairly close to the remote it flies even and steady, but once the signal weakens it seems like calibration is thrown off and it sometimes begins to drift, lose balance, or not really know how close it is to the ground (it usually slows descent considerably when approaching the ground). I had a couple minor crashes after this sort of calibration was thrown off a bit, all you have to do is restart or just recalibrate in the app. I also noticed that any amount of wind can create an extra challenge. The drone is very light and maneuverable, but gusts can carry it quickly away so watch out for breezes. Overall a great beginner drone for people who might be nervous about spending money on a toy like this. Great way to practice flying both by eye and on a monitor. Very fun and enjoyable to fly and definitely will be regularly using this for fun. My 4 yr old boy loves it also!

I have enjoyed learning to fly the new drone , its simplicity makes it a good buy . I wish it had longer range, and would hold my cell phone in the remote area not wide enough for s24, Loaded with features like return home,gps, follow me .

Easy to operate and clear video. Good for beginner on drones. Although not advisable to be used during windy season.

Solid! So far it’s Survived 3 crashes as I learn how to fly, it’s definitely FUN and am excited to get it to a grassy area to get more training. Love the carrying case and all the accessories. The video quality in the app is very good, haven’t had a chance to test the recording piece as I need to purchase a micro SD card still. But this is a solid buy. Will be looking for same brand when I graduate out of the “beginner drone “ stage.

Drone This drone is a ton a fun! It’s the first drone I have ever flown so I really had no clue how they worked. There’s a video online you can watch to get step by step instructions and the app that you download gives really good setup instructions also. I had it flying in no time at all. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it fits on the controller just fine. The controller is easy to run, there is a button that you press for take off and a button that brings the drone back and lands it where it took off from. That makes it really nice for inexperienced pilots. The camera takes great pictures and videos and saves them to my phone instantly. It came with two batteries and they last quite awhile so you can get a good flight in. I like the case, it provides great protection and has a spot for everything to store and travel with ease. It’s nice that it comes with spare parts as well. The only thing I wish was different was that I could charge the batteries without them having to be in the drone. Not a deal breaker for me, it would just be a little more convenient. Overall this was a great buy and a great first drone for me to learn with!

I recently picked up the Ameta S50 Lite 4K Drone with Camera, GPS, two batteries and a remote controller and I couldn’t be happier. What I Love Easy to fly — From the first launch the drone felt intuitive. The one-key takeoff/landing plus GPS altitude hold made it very beginner-friendly. Great value with two batteries — It comes with two 2000 mAh batteries giving up to ~50 minutes of flight time (about 25 minutes each) in ideal conditions. Impressive camera & smart modes — The 13 MP sensor shoots 4K video and there are creative modes like Follow Me, Waypoints, Circle Fly, Rocket, etc. Solid GPS and safety features — The GPS positioning plus Return-to-Home gives me confidence flying outdoors. Flying this drone around my local park and at camp has been a blast. The camera produced crisp aerial shots of my neighborhood and even some nice videography of surrounding scenery. Using the Follow Me mode was especially fun. Battery life met expectations in calm conditions (I got nearly full 25 minutes each); though in breezy wind it dropped a bit sooner, which is expected. The remote control and the app interface were responsive and easy to understand.

This is a great drone. I love that it comes with two batteries and a remote control that fits my phone. The flight time is pretty decent, especially since it comes with the two batteries. I love that it comes with a carry case for the drone to keep it safe while not in use. Looking forward to mini flight times with this drone

I have seen lots of people flying toy drones recently, and I am really interested about how it works. Also, my kids have been asking me to buy a drone for a while. This one could be an excellent learning tool and outdoor activities for them. The product was arrived in excellent condition with a very cool box. It is truly a gift ready product. The product came with everything I needed for easy and convenient use. It is very portable with a nice carrying case. The setup was really easy and there’s a clear instruction manual came with it. In less than 10 minutes, we managed this drone to take off and flying. Although the drone was crashed a few times and landed on the wrong place because we have no experience, but the drone was very durable, me and my kids can operate it much better now. It is very stable even in windy conditions. Overall, it is a great buy for me. We had lots of fun in the park. Also, it is very useful for my kids to learn about drone technology.

Really awesome drone, it flys great and i can say it is very robust, it has taken some pretty hard falls due to user error and has always worked right after.

Not good for beginners doesn’t stay up in the air.
