    If it needs to be in a place that had a line of sight to router, it does you no good for upstairs or downstairs.

    Total disappointment! Device has done nothing to improve my situation. Ordered before thanksgiving and came in a week. It was packed very well. Didn't get back to it until after that holiday period of 2 weeks. Then set it up 1st week of Dec. Device worked for two weeks. I can not locate receipt but I have the box. I have 2 other white box shaped Netgear extenders. They all start out well and just seem to deteriorate within a couple months. We have troubleshooted all of them. This one cost way more and gave me way less time working.
