    Works good to extend the range of my main router, I would like it to reach farther in the yard but I live on a hill so the distance is likely actually greater then the straight line.

    The extender is a decent option for large homes, although there are better alternatives. One drawback we've seen is that it tends to drop signal often causing you to have to reconnect. If you have a need to extend your wireless router, and money is not a concern, look for an alternative.

    Was trying to extend internet reception from house to machine shed. Couldn't get it to work. Apparently it couldn't transmit through the metal siding on the building.
