The setup was extremely easy and I was thrilled to see it work with the Verizon Gateway G-1100 router.

Setup was easy and it worked great for the first 2 hours. Then, I lost internet access. I was still able to connect to the range extender and it was still connected to my wifi modem, but I couldn't access the internet with any of my devices. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with tech support on two different occasions over 10 days and they could not fix the problem. They recommended I return it. I did, and I bought a NETGEAR AC1200 for the same price. The NETGEAR range extender is working great. Go buy that one and avoid the AMPED WIRELESS product.

Seems to offer decent extension though dependent on having a stable and reliable router and modem.

I've tried to work with this product for the past couple months to see how it would work. It helped some to expand the wifi out to my apt beside the house but it doesn't fully cover that area. It does cover about half. If you're looking to cover, say, 2br apt and a 3br some, go larger coverage area.

Purchased it after recommendation by BestBuy employee. Well, the unit doesn't want to connect to the router modem, or won't even load the set up page provided in the instruction manual. Customer support is a joke. They work only Monday through Thursday and hard to get through. Stick with Netgear, Linksys or Belkin. I am taking it back to the store.
