We tried another brand but it was not strong enough to go through our cinder block walls. We are using this to gain signal to a detached garage that has been converted to a bedroom.

I installed this range extender between two houses about 200 feet apart. The goal was to extend the wireless in one house to the next and this range extender has been doing a great job of that. I would for sure recommend this product.

Good WIFI range and easy to setup. Replaced a D-link router that could not get a signal 50 feet away through a thick wall. This through easily 50 feet through the wall.

It was out of the box and set up in under 10 minutes. iOS devices connected with no issues, my Android device found it but required very minor setup changes to work. It is somewhat slower than an in-range connection to the source wi-fi, but still fast and way better than a weak or no signal that we experienced in certain areas of the house.

Had a less-expensive, less power range extender, but it could not reach the width of the house, much less to the "garden level" (that some might call a basement). With help from BestBuy staff, I choose this model and have been delighted with its consistently strong signal. Installation was a snap, but I recommend doing it the hard way: read the instructions. They are straightforward and easy, if you actually read them.

If you need to extend your wireless network, this is what you need. Easy to setup and deploy in your home or small office. Highly recommend!!

Typically I prefer a single wireless network (SSID) for seamless and easy switching from one device to the other while roaming a big house (most often I use Apple products to set this up). Since the objective of this installation was to expand the wireless signal into a single room, I didn't think it worth the expense to replace an existing router (with an Airport Extreme) and possibly having to add an additional unit (as that solution would have cost from 2 - 4 times of this Amped Range Extender). I was happy with the easy setup and the overall performance once I set it in place.

My 12-year old son set it up for me and it works great. Our wireless was in the front of the house so we had gaps and weak coverage in the back and upstairs back. We set this unit up closer to the back and it has strengthened our wireless and covers the entire house. No more gaps!

This range extender was very easy to set up and seems to perform pretty well. I had a Cisco version prior that was a joke so this one is much better.

I'm not sure if it's the repeater itself or the crummy internet connection, but I still keep getting kicked off often using this device. We're living in a carriage home for the time being sharing an internet connection with the in-laws, so it may be that the shared connection could be messing with the reception. When it works, it works great. When it doesn't, it's aggravating. Maybe I'll give another review when I move to my location.

It took a while to install, but once I did , it performed up to specs. Hooked up a printer and a mobile device in area that previously were not able to connect because of a poor wifi signal.

I live in a 900 sq ft condo and and this repeater is at one end of my unit. If I'm at the other end I get less than half the speed. Don't know if it's my walls or what but the range seems much less than advertised. I haven't tried other range extenders so can't say how this one compares. I'm just glad I have a good signal now at the other end of my unit which is where I needed it. It's also super easy to set up. Overall I'm decently satisfied with my purchase.

First purchase of a range extender because the signal in my house is really weak outside of the general area that the router/modem is located. The extender increased the signal in every room in the house including the 2nd floor and basement/garage area. I should have installed one years ago. We use DSL phone line and the service is spotty to weak sometimes during peak useage times. Now our connection is almost always there and we don't get dropped.

It seemed to work. Have it in big house and seemed to set up fairly easy I didn't have any real issues so I guess it's acceptable

I needed my wifi to reach outside into the garage. This product did just that!

WIFI extender works fine and easy to setup. No technical issues experienced.

I purchased it give my wi FI more range and it has preformed excellently.

Finally have wi fi in areas where it never worked before. Works great!

My house had horrible wi-fi problems and this product really helped to solve them. It's not perfect, but I now have pretty solid wi-fi throughout my home.
