Simple range extender that clearly meets our needs. Easy to setup, and maintain.

The range extender is decent. Works OK so far. My only problem is that the devices on the range extender do not see the devices on the wireless router. However, that could be due to configuration issues, but it does not work out of the box. Internet connectivity is very good.

Exellent rage extender. It has a very easy setup process, you can be up and running on 10 minutes. It does take experimenting with a few locations in the house before you find the sweet spot that allows it to catch and produce the best signal. Once you got it, you'll get great range. My base router is in an office in the very front of my house, extender is about 50 feet away, and now signal reaches the very back of my yard and about another 50-60 feet. Very close to the range it advertises, accounting of course for all the very thick concrete walls the signal must pass through. Little more expensive that other extenders, but well worth it. Highly recommend it.

There are two issues that prevent this from being a 5-star product. When you want to modify settings in the management tab, the product becomes very finicky. Access to the setup menu via your web browser is hit and miss. I had to turn off and on the ethernet adapter on my laptop to occasionally get to it. The issue happens once you make setting changes and wait for the reboot. For example, I wanted to change the security setting that the repeater choose of WPA mixed to strictly WPA2. I also wanted to switch both 5 and 2.4 to Wireless N-only instead of what the Easy Setup chose. My router supports AUTO channel selection for both 5 and 2.4, but the Amped only supports it in 5 GHz. I wanted to choose 20/40 MHz bandwidth for channel bonding, but the Amped does not support that either. All these are disappointments. However, it does work if you simply follow the Easy Setup and then, don't touch anything else. One other note - Amped has a WiFi Analytics Tool for the Anroid phone and the PC. The Droid app is fantastic and very useful for choosing where to place the unit in the house. The PC is less useful as it does not have a signal meter like the Droid App. The issue for me is I have an iPhone. There is no app for this for the iOS.

Had a little bit of a problem searching for the web link to the product and was having a problem with the installation the first time I tried it but afterwards I was able to install it with no problems whatsoever and the unit is working perfectly well. My internet has great range.

The wifi signal was very weak in some areas of my house. This extender was exactly what I needed, now I have a strong signal all over my house.

This product was very easy and quick to install. I had no trouble at all. It eliminated dead spots throughout my house as promised. I noticed no loss in download/upload speeds.

The repeater boost the wireless signal very well.The downside to that is it has to be so close to your wireless router needs to be great that 70% signal from router.The repeated does not retain settings once your modem,router or repeater looses power. You have to rebuild it and make a connection back to the router and it has been averaging me about 30 mins. to do I tried to do what AmpedWirless said save the configuration file and had never had a successful restore from it. I would recommend the BA1000 and hard wire to the router this would provide a stable solid connection. The only reason I would not Recommend it cause it will never save the setting after loosing power

We love this Wi-Fi booster. This works perfectly so we can stream Netflix or Hulu or anything else on the TV. It reaches all corners of our house and basement.

This looked like a good product from the package material. I returned it for a Linksys device that was compatible with my Linksys router.

I think that the re-arranging the location several times to get the signal to go to the backyard -- made me like this device very much; Finally putting it in the 1/3 middle of the hallway away from as much walls as possible finally was able to get the signal to the backyard. There is a hair salon that their signal is so strong that it reaches across the street to my residence. I wonder which internet extender they have???

Overall this is one of the best repeaters I have ever used. Setup was quick and easy. The range impressed me and streaming media through it with loss of speed for the other connected devices.

Wanted to extend our homes wifi out to our pole barn. Signal is better then expected!

Kept having areas in my business with dead spots in the wifi, this extender helped a lot. Fairly straight forward set up.

This has helped us to get better game playing in the front room of our house. The coverage on our laptop is also great.

I purchased this device to extend the range of my wireless network to my basement, which doesn't receive a great WiFi connection from our upstairs router. This device did the trick. It also allows you to directly connect multiple wired device. The only problem with this is that its connection speed is only as fast as your WiFi, so you may still have trouble streaming media. Overall, it did the trick for me.

I had spotty wireless internet and older model dvd player did not even pick up the wireless signal before installing the amped repeater/extender. Now I can watch Netflix on the dvd player, use any wireless device anywhere in the 2nd story apartment, and even get the signal outside while sitting on the front lawn. I am really pleased with this product and glad that the sales person recommended that I try it.

I needed something that would have good range without wires when working with a DSL single line and two remote locations to work with. I had worked with a unit that didn't have an external antenna which provided fair performance, but spotty reception. This unit has provided outstanding performance with no reception issues at all!
