Both cameras take very good quality video and audio. The only complaint I have with the flex is that it can be tough to trigger the motion sensor if it’s up in a corner

Love the Canary! Charged them up, download the app, paired them up and ready to go! Great videos-clear. I’ve purchased 2 more Flex Canary’s and will get my son a set. Feel much safer!

You can't find a better camera all in one package for the money...Sure you could pay more for the same features and get the slick packaging of a Nest or Arlo, but Canary has owned the market on cams and offers this hi-end package that works with Alexa and Google Assistant for hundreds less...Canary cams aren't cheap or flimsy...You are buying a product every bit (and better) than the others.

Very good camera only gave a a two star because it didn’t last a week I do not know if they all are like that or was defective batch, picture was clear, very good quality

I definitely do not recommend this product/company. I purchased Canary Starter Pack with regular canary and canary flex for my mother's house. Unfortunately did not get the Geek Squad protection for the devices. After 6 months the Flex's battery life went from about 2 weeks to 2 days and since then has gone down to 1 day battery life. I have worked with tech support from canary via text and email where the responses have been instructions to reset the canary over and over again or to move the Flex from the space that I need it to be closer to the router or keep it plugged in which is not why I wanted a battery operated camera. Even when moving the camera within 5 feet of the router it still has problems and I keep getting instructions to move it and reset it neither of which seem to work. Over the past several months, this has been going on, I am not always at my mother's house to deal with this problem and keep trying to get the situation resolved when I am here and available. Replies to my emails to tech support have come days or even weeks later. Tech support via text does not work for me as I think something gets lost in translation and it seems that I keep getting shifted from text tech support to email tech support when the tech texting cannot solve my problem. I will be getting rid of this camera and discontinuing my subscription to their recording service which has an annual fee. They used to have much better customer and tech support but now it is horrible and I suggest staying away from the Canary brand and looking for other alternatives...

Have four canary cameras in my house and work great

While the Canary functions primarily well, the biggest issue is being forced to pay for the monthly subscription to maximize the benefits. Should you need to review a video, you only have 24 hrs to do so (although Canary has notified subscribers that this will be changed soon). Other than that, a great product for home safety.

Generally works well but the outdoor camera keeps going off line then back on. The indoor camera is much better and does not go off line.

The Canary system is an excellent product for the money. I delivers cool screen shots and mini videos of any questionable activity. I feel very secure having this system running when I am away. A must own.

Decent quality with the cameras just hopefully your internet connection is great don't take them too far away from the modem and they now charge monthly fees

Cameras were extremely easy to set up and love being able to check in on things at home. Only draw back, wish they integrated better with other devices (eg Google Home). Functionality is a little limited. Other than that..., it’s a great buy!

I’ve owned several Home Camera platforms and can assure you, this one is the best. Best app, high quality materials used to make the product, best battery life, and simple setup. Buy these for sure.

Easy setup. Works great with phone app. New update allows you to “ mask” areas of view on the Flex, so moving plants don’t alway get detected. Gives comfort when home or away.

Quick and easy to install. You have to subscribe to fully utilize the Camera’s capabilities. They offer a free 30-day trial, which I did and I liked it! Worth the Buy!

I would highly recommend the Canary home security system. From it’s ease of installation, awesome geofencing auto arm/disarm abilities, great wireless camera range and batterlife, it’s the perfect easy to use system to protect you and your family. You don’t need to add the membership but I did to extend the backup recording and add the two way communication so we can talk to our dog while away and answer the front door if we see someone visiting while were out. You can find half price coupon codes online which bring the annual cost under $50... great value and sure beats regular security fees!

The main one stays in the house and has to be plugged in. But the wireless one is great. You can put it literally anywhere like in the attic or back yard. It catches it all.

I have had these for almost 3 years and even outside it still works great with good picture and alerts. Recommend!
