Would be okay is you did not have to purchase storage to get full use

I was floored at how easy these cameras are to set up! I connected each to my wifi, synced them to my iphone, placed one in my living room and one outside facing my driveway, and was done in under an hour!!!! Both cameras are sleek looking, app is seamless, and picture quality is great. Ten out of ten would recommend!

I have purchased both of these Canarys and I am pleased with the performance in general. Set up is super easy with the app on your phone, resolution is great as compared to other security products in this segment and the app itself is very flexible to set up when you or family members come and go, notifications, when you want to record video, etc. I have a basic storage plan to capture video events which is nice to be able to review what occurred in the past. Great piece of mind to be able to check on your home when your not around and get notified when indoor and outdoor motion or sound is detected.

Love these little guys. They both perfect blend into my home. I'm not an interior designer or anything, but I like how these look like fancy art pieces. I think the app experience is superior to Arlo. I used to have an Arlo and the app experience is terrible...funny how they barley market that experience 0_o. I get responsive notifications, constant new feature updates, and it's just a cool brand. So yeah! Love em'!

We purchased this product from Best Buy shortly after it was introduced, for all the features it offered. At that time, Canary offered days of recording for free. We also thought that the geofencing was a great feature, recognizing us automatically when we arrived and departed. We shortly discovered that the geofencing didn't work and trouble shooting efforts were to no avail. Gradually, the company slowly began taking the recordings away from us, I guess trying to coerce us into paying for the membership so that, now, we can't even view a complete one minute video. This product, that we paid $249.00 a few years ago, is mostly useless. I wouldn't recommend it at the current 199.00 price. In fact, I wouldn't recommend it if it were free.

I'm a recent college graduate who moved to the city and was nervous about moving into my own apartment. I've had my Canary for about 2 weeks now, and I feel 100x safer. It's very easy to use and I love having access to it 24/7 on my phone. I would recommend this to any one who is a first time user looking for a reliable security camera!

Product seldom works as advertised, sometimes it recognizes that your device is at home and other times not. My wife’s device suddenly became invisible to the canary, which is a lot like their tech support/ customer support. You must communicate via e-mail within 72 hours, might as well be using smoke signals. They told me to shut everything down, uninstall the app from all devices then go thru the entire process like I just got it out of the box, time consuming and it didn’t work!

I can't believe the value here. Separately these camera's cost as much as $400. The work so well indoors and outdoors. I love my Canary 1 and Flex. They are great products! Highly recommend! Thanks!

Has anyone else noticed that the only negative reviews have frequent misspellings and grammatical errors? Not to imply their opinions aren't valid; the reviews are simply factually incorrect. The product works as advertised.

If you want just the cameras with no monthly subscription here's what you don't get: Can't use 2 way talk! Very short video clips! So basically, you just bought hardware that isn't yours unless you pay a monthly premium! On top if that, it takes the video feeds way to long to load up and the 2 way audio is really bad quality, especially to be paying for it. Don't buy!! DONT BUY!! Don't buy!!

You need a subscription just to use simple features like 2 way talk. Took it right back to best buy. These companies dont get it man. We dont want or need subscriptions. If we did we would just get adt. We can monitor it by ourselves.
