This “sequel” can’t compare to the original Phantom of the Opera production, but the actors, set/stage designs, & music were well done overall. However, I am not a huge carnival/circus fan, so some scenes didn’t appeal to me as much as others. The story line & characters are a bit far-fetched when compared to the original Phantom ending (which can be a problem if viewed as a direct continuation). Therefore, it is better to treat this new production as an alternate fantasy or as a “what-if” scenario. I think that this production is worth checking out if you love the Phantom of the Opera and theater...just remember to treat Love Never Dies as a stand-alone piece, or you might be disappointed.

Since I enjoyed Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and Sierra Boggess as Christine in the 25th anniversary of the Phantom. I had to buy Love Never Dies. It didn't disappoint. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

This is a beautifully sung production and is very interesting to watch and to see the next stage of life but when you find out the twist it is a little weird to accept based on the original movie.

Although I found this to be less mesmerizing than Phantom of the Opera, If you're a fan, you need the sequel.

As a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera, I love that they put this theatre play to video for all to enjoy. Great filming/viewing qualify.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies [Blu-ray] [2011] love it!!!! seen it live, and enjoy the Blu-ray as well!

Good film with good music in teh Andrew Lloyd Weber spirit.

I haven't watched it yet but am looking to go seeing how the story develops!

Great movie to follow the Phantom of the Opera !!!

i first saw this at a fathom event and instantly fell in love. i have done nothing but sing the songs, reimagine the costumes, and hope that i could see it again.....apparantly i can! this show has one of the most splendid sets accented with the most outragous costumes. dont get me started on the music because there were several moments i was brought to tears. if you have seen it, buy this. if you havent seen it, buy this.

Having a degree in both Theatre and Broadcasting, I first witnessed this show in Theatres and was blown away. The camera work while sometimes a slight bit constricting is very beautifully done. The actors truly live the parts and are not bothered by the presence of cameras in the least. The imagery is beautiful, set design is great. Overall, This is a fantastic purchase to accompany my Blu-Ray copy of Phantom of the Opera. I would definitely recommend this to any customer who loves watching live theatre yet doesn't have an opportunity to go out and see it as often as they would like to.

Where to begin? After viewing this twice now, I can confidently say that this is Andrew Lloyd Webber's best work. The entire score works together with little to no repeating. The acting is top notch. The only problem I would site, is that the camera shots are to tight to fully see the background.

I am a fan of Broadway Musicals. Although this one will likely not be your absolute favorite, it's still a good one to have added to your collection.

This is a follow up to the phantom of the opera it show most of the characters from phantom 10 years later in New York and what has become of them and the after math to some events after the first play.

This movie was not anywhere near as good as Phantom of the Opera. And even though Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote the music it was no good. The plot was lame. The only thing I can say good about it was that the actors really had great singing voices. It was also very distracting that you could see the microphones on each of the actor's foreheads (it was a live performance). For a long time I wondered what kind of growth the Phantom had on his face. I would no recommend this to a friend and I'm truly sorry I bought it. Don't waste your money!!
