Fun Little Game

I remember playing the first animal crossing game on Nintendo's GameCube way back when and when I decided to get this game, I thought it would be a little bit like it. However, I just found it odd at some points like being a mayor while trying to build your town and stuff. I also found the day/night cycle to be irritating as well (I work during the day so when I come home at night and get around to playing it, the game itself is night and some stuff you can't get done because everyone is 'sleeping' or closed). Other than that it's a good game to bring out every now and then to play with but I don't recommend it for people that can't play it during the day for reasons stated above.

Who says animal crossing is just for kids? I'm 29 and my wife is 31 and we love these games. We frequently connect our systems and join each other's towns and share items. It's a great casual game. Simply, you become the major of a town and your job is to make the town better. It might sound stupid, and it kind of is, but it's still FUN!!! :)

Animal Crossing is a pointless game that is just plain addicting. You do meaningless tasks but it's such a good game to pick up when you don't want to get too deep into something. There's so much you can do though so that you can get serious if you want to! That's the beauty of it.
This is one of the best in the series too hands down.
Multiplayer is icing on the cake. Plus this game is pretty cheap to pick up as it is.

I bought this game when it first came out because it seemed fun, I like games like harvest moon and this one seemed pretty close to it. After playing it i just could not put it down!! It's so time consuming but it gives you a sense of fulfillment because the more time you put it the better your town is!! The villagers are very funny and friendly and the fact that others can visit your town is pretty cool too!

If you have ever played any of the Animal Crossing games, you know that they are relaxing and fun to play, with a small scale sandbox style game play with tones to do. If you haven't then you are starting off right at the top of the tiers. This version is the best! This is also the perfect game for young ones, and has no violence.

This game is a must have for every 3DS owner. There's so much to do in the game. You can go fishing, pay rent, water plants, adjust town ordinances, earn and pay bells (the currency in the game) to increase your house size, travel to other people's towns, collect fossils, buy and sell stuff---these sound like chores, but believe me, they're more fun to do in the game than in real life. :)

My 8-year-old daughter is the primary player of this game in our household, and she loves it. Older kids might want something with a little more action, but anyone who enjoys pleasant, patient games will probably love this title. If you are familiar with previous games in the franchise, expect more of the same. There is fishing, farming, property management, and friend-making galore, and if you really get into it, you could probably spend well over 100 hours on the game. But keep in mind that a slow-burning game like this won't suit every taste.

This simulation game is definitely fun for any age. You live as mayor and manage the town and its people. this game is fun for those who enjoy decorating. However one may get bored or find it tedious to do the tasks to make the currency in the game. besides for that this game is awesome all throughout the year.

This game is a life within your life. If you're looking for a game where you have to set alarms so that you remember to go into your town to do certain things, this is for you. If you're somebody who only plays during a certain time of the day you may miss out on some things the game offers.

I was looking for a game I could play and relax and this definitely fits the bill. Yes the tasks are repetitive, but the townspeople are all great and they make you want to keep them happy. There is enough variance but most of the game is driven through self-assigned tasks. Looking for new furniture or expanding your own home or even completing the museum. There's no pressure to complete the tasks, but they're definitely fulfilling.

It's a simple game anyone can enjoy with plenty of depth and customization. You mold the world how you want to. The only limitation is your imagination. Online play makes it even more awesome since friends can join you. Definitely a must-have for anyone with a 3DS!

Animal Crossing is definitely a hard game to describe in a way that doesn't sound boring. You pick fruit, catch bugs, fish, collect furniture, upgrade your house and now with New Leaf you become mayor. Animal Crossing is a great game to unwind with after a day of work.

This was my first 3ds xl game and I must say it's very charming. Lots of activities to do in the game. You don't feel pressured to accomplish tasks to enjoy the game. Digging for fossils, fishing and meeting neighbors brings appeal to the title. Good for all ages

This is by far the best Animal Crossing game ever made. It runs really well on the 3DS and the touch screen makes using the inventory really convenient and user-friendly. It has some issues, but nothing major. This is the best game on 3DS, in my opinion.

I'm a bit late to the party, but Animal Crossing is still a great game for lovers of the Harvest Moon series. It's very relaxing and great for passing time, but of course, as with all farming simulators and similar games, it's not for everyone.

I love animal crossing. This installation is the same classic gameplay infused with newfangled items, a wonderful little plaza in which to run your wallet dry, and an island hosting endless minigame entertainment. A great game to get lost in.
