New Leaf is the perfect game to escape with. Unlike most games, this one lets you enjoy the game world at your own pace and in your own way. Whether you choose to plant flowers, organize your home, fish or just chat, Animal Crossing: New Leaf sets you up as the mayor of your town and offers and exceptionally enjoyable and relaxing experience. This is by far the best iteration in the series and provides a lovely and engaging experience.

THIS IS AN AWESOME GAME! It can keep you occupied for hours. My kids love it ( 5 & 6 ) and so do I!

I played the original on the N64 it was so good and seeing how it has been getting better and better.

Still the best full fledged Animal Crossing to date. 7yr daughter loves it. High replay value.

Fun and encouraging game, I am glad to see my son playing this and not Pokemon all the time. Animal crossing gives a bit of the real world as far as making choices and saving and spending.

If you've played any prior game in the Animal Crossing series, you owe it to yourself to pick this game up. It is in my opinion far and away the best game in the series. The online component of the game is well executed, the gameplay itself is inviting and addictive (this might be a bad thing!), and the difficulty of accomplishing tasks in my opinion is just about right. If you put in the effort, you reap the rewards. The interactions with the animals in your town is engaging and sometimes quite comical as are the interactions with other ancillary characters such as Cap'n (the boat captain that ferries you to your private island). The ability to connect and play with other players from around the world is executed well and does help provide a break somewhat to the normal flow of the game. If you didn't like the series before...there's nothing here that will change your mind, but if you did enjoy the previous incarnations, you should run out and purchase this title right now!
