I bought this for my child age 8 and she enjoys it. Challenging enough but nit overwhelming. No inappropriate content.

Buyer beware if you order a preowned Nintendo DS game! The version of Animal Crossing that was sent to us did not work in a Nintendo DSI system - it only worked in a DS. It also was not stable when connecting head to head wirelessly with another DS or DSI. The chip itself looked different and the copyright had a different date than the other chips we had at home (we have two others). The worst part was when my son inexplicably lost all of his progress in the game for no apparent reason. Our opinion is that we got an unauthorized or bootlegged copy of the game. Not cool...I would like my $20.00 back!

Kids always wanted this game and I can now see why!

So I'll go right out and say it Animal crossing isn't for everyone it's a slow pace, real time game (meaning the world still goes even when your not playing) it's about collecting and relaxing, these words don't actually do it justice and in my honest opinion its one of the most fun and enjoyable games Nintendo has made. I have invested more hour than I care to admit into this simple but truly enjoyable game. Great buy for casual and hard core gamers alike.
