I’m not lying, in 1977 I was given this album and through the years I bought three more copies. Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands and I still listen to them today. I just bought the 2016 pressing of Animals. The theme of the album is brilliant, I’m more of a GILMOUR fan, but I will admit that WATERS is one hack of writer. He is the primary writer of Animals, with Gilmour / Waters sharing credits on one song. I love Gilmour’s guitar playing on this album and Waters / Gilmour’s vocals. I’m beating around the bush, but I can listen to this album all day. It’s not a long album, but just long enough. I wish they had a live legal version of Animals.

Pink Floyd's scathing 1977 political criticism, based on the works of George Orwell, resonates even more powerfully in a 2017 world now run by egocentric business tycoons and unhinged dictators. Who would have thought, eh? But behind the powerful Roger Waters lyrics, Richard Wright and David Gilmour deliver some of the finest prog rock keyboards and guitar lines, respectively. The chord progression at the end of "Sheep" is a master class in power and intensity. The remastered vinyl delivers greater tonal detail to this often overlooked masterpiece.

Pink Floyd's 1977's Animals, A very much anticipated remaster on vinyl for such a classic LP. Never got the love it would have enjoyed with radio hits. But by far remains a must for any PF fan. All four members in the group shows off every talent on this release.

Excellent! Vinyl records are making a comeback! But you must take good care of the surface of the records in order to enjoy the better then CD sound. Pink Floyd always fulfills your wildest dreams of a great band at it's peak and Animals is no exception!

Great sound quality and packaging. Record is of high standards and you will not be disappointed if you are a fan or the Floyd. One of my favorite albums of all time.

Anything Pink Floyd is well remastered they don’t just print records that are not to a quality standard
