MagSafe works great, but a little warm
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MagSafe compatibility is great and the capacity is perfect for a quick power up at the size of the power bank. The charger does get warm to hot while charging wirelessly, not too hot to pick up and hold, but definitely more than you'd want to hold for too long. The charging is noticeably slower wirelessly than using the USB-C outlet, but is able to keep the battery level on an iPhone steady while using it but it doesn't get higher. The weight and size are excellent and the finish is great! I'd still recommend it to other iPhone users that use MagSafe due to the size and magnetic connection, but if you're willing to use a cable, other options might be more effective.

Feeling recharged
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll walk you through this but long story short, I wasn’t that impressed. Out of the box, there’s nothing to wow you about the packaging. This device is basically a wireless portable battery that is meant to be both magnetic and can double as a phone stand. A great concept on paper. For the record, this review is coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max user. I’ll start by saying that the act of charging works great. While connected, the charge occurs basically as fast as if it was plugged in to the wall. This is a big plus. Unfortunately, that’s also where the problems start to occur. I have a Otterbox Commuter case on my phone, which I believe is the most common case for an iPhone. The commuter is fantastic and thick and works with other wireless chargers just fine. The issue with this Anker charger is that the magnet just isn’t quite strong enough to work effectively through my case. When I took my case off to test the magnet, it worked fantastic. When I put the case on, which is how I’ll insist on always using my phone, the magnet is only strong enough to hold on if literally nothing slightly bumps it. It’s not as if it’d just stay on and charge in my pocket, nor would it stay on if I held my phone like normal with my fingers behind the screen. Even just rotating the phone makes the magnet fall off. So all in all, the magnet portion is useless to me and many other otterbox users. The battery also doesn’t last that long. It takes significantly longer to charge back up than I expected and dies after 1-2 full charges on my phone. The device is great as acting as a stand though so if I wanted to bring it to work, setup the stand to face me on my desk, and charge, it starts to be quite useful. You are able to use this as a portable corded battery too if you’d like to just hook your phone in with a cord, but if you’re going to do that, there’s a lot better portable batteries out there that last much longer. All in all, a good concept that is probably fantastic for those nutty enough to use their $1k+ phone without a case but for the rest of us, results may be a letdown.

Almost enough juice
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So when i compare this to the branded accessory (i have both) the functionality and charging capability are vastly better. Aside from the fact that it simply stays connected magnetically much better, the fold out kickstand proves more useful on your desk or an airplane than i would have expected. My only wish is that it had a little more capacity, as it will take my iPhone 13 pro from low battery to just short of a full charge and be completely spent. I like it enough that i now have one in both of my cars so that if I’m out somewhere and my battery is low I know i have a backup plan. Definitely recommended!

Perfection
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for a charger that is stylish, quickly charges and securely attaches? Look no further! I’m in love with this Anker Mag Go for my IPhone 13! I work 13-15 hour days and use my phone non stop. So this portable on the go charger is perfect to pop my phone on and off as is charges really fast and secure it perfectly. While it’s attached I love that it’s at an angle so I can still read all the messages and work memos. It’s very sturdy in its build quality. One thing to not it has a nice grip to it but nothing to deter from the look. Recharging it was a breeze as I would put on charger when I got home and by the time I woke up and left it was back at full charge! Highly recommend!

Its a great charger
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s great it’s bulky and it charges the phone from 60% to 100 about three times before it’s dead. It’s definitely nicer than the Apple branded one. It has a nice little stand for it. I’ll get warm after charging up the phone but that’s not a big deal.. I definitely like the idea of charging with the USB type C and having the option of wiring in a cable to charge the phone or something else

Pretty good charger for what it is marketed for
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When unboxing the charger, I noted that the USB-C charging port is at the bottom of the stand/charger which will prevent you from using the stand while it is plugged in and charging the battery. I would suggest on the next update to move the direction of the stand and have the charging port and LED lights at the top where you can see them while the unit is charging. For my i Phone 13 Pro Max, it only partly charges it (around 80%) but this is not an issue as the phone battery plus this one gives me over 2 days of use between charges. The stand is somewhat stable but with my big phone, I expected it to not be rock steady. Perhaps it will be on a smaller phone. Charging time was about what I expected and again - not an issue for me. The grip on the phone was outstanding without the case, but with the Lifeproof Mag Safe case, it was somewhat reduced. So - your mileage may vary depending on your case. Charging times were exactly the same with or without the case. To get a 5-star rating, it will need to make the stand a bit more solid and move the charging port and the LED lights to the top from the bottom. Otherwise - highly recommended!

Brilliant. Best MagSafe Battery. Better than Apple
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Anker MagGo portable battery is better than Apple's in every way possible. Yes, it attaches securely to your iPhone. As strong, if not stronger, than Apples. What makes the Anker MagGo BETTER than Apple's is there real thought that has gone into the design. I LOVE that it has a stand. This is genius. The stand is strong enough to hold your phone upright but what is even more genius is you can have your phone vertical AND horizontal. I used this recently on a flight and was able to watch a Netflix video while charging my phone while it sat on the tray table. LOVE IT! I also like that the outside is textured. The Apple battery is all slick and slippery, but this has a soft touch so your phone still stays in your hand. The one thing to note about the Anker MagGo is that it charges via USB C (not lightning). Honestly, I'm OK with that as my iPad is USB C, my Macbook is USB C... it's just the iPhone that's stuck in the dark ages. Anker also includes a USB C cable should you need it. Seriously, this is just so well thought out, made, and looks good. I strongly recommend you buy it over the Apple version. The Anker MagGo is the best MagSafe battery you can get for your iPhone. PS. I tested this on my iPhone 13 with a non-Apple but MagSafe compatible case.

Must have for iPhone 12/13 users
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anker makes some of the most affordable and high quality chargers and batteries on the market. I prefer them over any other charger I have used. The Anker MagGo is truly revolutionary. Starting off with the design. It is a small and compact portable battery and the best part is that it magnets to the back of your iPhone to wireless charge it. But In addition it has a folding stand that can be used to prop up your phone for watching movies etc. It is not extremely heavy, had nice soft materials to touch and isn’t to large to easily carry around on the back of your phone when you need a charge. I think most people have been in a situation where they need to be on the go but there phone is dying. This is the perfect option for this because it stays attached to your phone and there are no extra wires. Also with a 5000 mah battery it can charge your phone at least completely once plus more. This battery is larger than most other similar style batteries. I love this battery/charger and would highly recommend for anyone who is constantly draining there phone battery and does not have the time or ability to be connected to a wall to charger there phone.

Nice buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use on my iPhone, though for some unknown reason, it wouldn’t stay magnetized to my wife’s iPhone 15….it did charge, however.

Good but it could be better

Convenient
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is nice to have a wireless backup charger. I have an otter box which makes it so the magnet doesn’t stick strongly, so I feel the need to hold onto it.

It’s ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It never fully charged my phone and it died pretty quickly, compared to other portable chargers I’ve had. I liked how small and “portable” it was! Definitely very sleek (great perk!) I’m not sure if I would recommend, but I’m keeping it for now

Great for the iphone 12 and newer "ONLY"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought 2 of these one for my iphone 12 and the other for my son's XR. My 12 worked flawlessly. It does everything as advertised. My son's XR wouldn't charge even wirelessly by laying it flat on the charger. I bought into the hype and go a Mag Safe Case from Amazon made for the XR. It connected fine, but would stop charging after a few seconds. If you want to use an older iphone with this charger it will not charge wirelessly. You only have the option of charge by wire. What i did is was exchange this for the Mophie Juice Pack Mini. That charger works wirelessly and with that Magsafe cace for the XR. You only lose the function of the stand. Plus the Mophie is a bit thinner and lighter. My son is happy now.

Worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slow charging. And worthless. It gives you a 2 hour charge. Thats it. If you are a heavy phone user, this doesnt cut it. Just get a portable battery on Amazon for half the cost and a 30,000 mAh battery.
