I have had experience with Anker products in the past and continue to use their products today (power banks, chargers, cables, stands, just to name a few). They've always been my to-go company for the various electronic peripherals my family of five have all over the house. They are a reliable alternative to the higher priced Apple branded accessories as well. This power adapter is no exception. It's in the shape of a nice but hefty little cube, bigger than the 5-watt power adapters that used to come with all of Apple's iPhones, but about as big as the 20-watt power adapters that now come with Apple's iPads and HomePod minis. Not tiny, but not too big either; it would be a perfect companion for trips--instead of having to take 2 separate power adapters, you only need one. It can charge with two separate USB-C cables at 20 watts each, or if you just want to use one of the outlets it will then charge at double the speed at 40 watts. I tried it out with my MacBook Air, iPads, and iPhone, variably charging two of them at the same time or separately/alone, to see how fast they charged up. This power adapter really is a fast charger! The only caveat I would say is that the charger itself gets quite hot while charging; I personally would not feel comfortable using it overnight or leaving it to charge something at home with no one present.

Anker is my favorite brands for charging needs. About 85% of all my chargers and charging cables are from Anker. Their products look and feel premium and just work and hold up longer than your generic charging accessories. Power banks, wall warts, cables, adapters, usb hubs; I own at least one of each, all from Anker. The Powerport III nano pro duo is a dual port USB type C charger with each port pushing out 20 watts of power to your devices, or one port at 40 watts. Most modern phones and tables will support up to at least 20 watts, with only a few going beyond that, those that do, will take advantage of the single port at 40 watts. Build quality is what you would expect. The charger looks well built without too much heft. The usb cables I have “snap” in and pull out just fine without too much effort. I did not feel at any time my cable would fall out or was plugged in forever. I didn’t notice too much heat coming off of it while I charged my ipad. Anker advertises Active Shield which uses an internal thermal sensor to throttle power delivery when it starts getting warm which will both protect the power adapter as well as the device it’s charging. I did a very rough charging test just to see how well it would perform charging my M1 iPad pro. I plugged the iPad in at 32% battery, as many users likely would, and set a timer. At around the ~11 min mark, I had reach 40% charge. In 15 minutes, I had reached a full 10% charge at 42% battery. It took another 9 minutes to reach 50% and after about an hour of charging I was at the trickle charge bar of 80% which I imagine charging was throttled by the iPad to preserve battery health. At 1h and 26m I was at 95% and I lost track of time, so I did not get to see when it turned over to 100%, but I imagine it was before the 2h mark. I was satisfied with the charge speed. I have other high speed chargers and this charger did as good as the rest. The main benefit is being able to take your two chargers and combine them into one. Whether it’s to free up an outlet next to the bedside or have a convenient travel charger to charge up all your devices. I’ll likely pair this with my Magsafe Duo charger to charge my phone, watch, as well as an iPad for when I travel without needing to take multiple wall warts. If I could change one thing, and Anker did this with their 65 Nano II chargers, is to make the outlet prongs foldable so they wont risk bending when traveling. By no means does it make it a deal killer and I would expect to see this in a future product.

The Anger Powerport III Nano Pro Duo charger is as functional as it is stylish. The very compact design allows the charger to not take up much space when plugged in. And for its small size, you can fast charge two devices up to 20 Watts each or 1 device at 40 Watts. The charger is compact enough for travel and will hold up well due to its solid design. Anker products last a long while so the charger will be useful for years to come. This charger has replaced my existing two chargers I carried around to charge my phone and tablet.

Showed that it was charging while I used my phone. But my phone continued to lose power. I returned it and went back to my Anker nano.

Junk complete junk only 1 port works other one has to be unplugged and replugged in multiple times the still will not continue to work. Unfortunately I waited to long to return.

Got broken after 4 days of use. After using for 4 days the adapter stopped working

The Anker Powerport III Nano Pro Duo (a long name for such a small device!) is a great accessory for charging your phones or tablets that use USB-C. I've used plenty of Anker cables in the past and have found them to be high quality and reliable, and I suspect this will continue that tradition. This charger just *feels* good; it's an imperfect way of judging, but I find electrical components with heft just seem to be higher quality, from A/V receivers to PC power supplies. It's a simple, small brick, with 2 USB C ports and 2 fixed (non-folding) prongs. I've tried it with various cables and phones and found that I get at least "fast charging" up to "super fast charging" when using this (Pixel 2, S20+, Galaxy Tab S7 FE). In the case of the Tab S7 FE, its included charger does not provide "super fast charging" but the device is capable of it, so using the Anker allows for an upgraded charging experience vs. the default Samsung brick. That's a great plus since that device has a massive battery. Likewise, this is a good choice as companies increasingly decline to include chargers with their devices. Overall, given the small size and high power output, this is a great product. It does what it says, and may even be an improvement in capability vs. the charger included with your device. Build quality is great, and that inspires confidence in plugging in expensive mobile devices for quick charging. Recommended!

Low-cost device which works just as described. It accepts the smaller USB-C plug which is perfect because that’s the cord that come with many of the newer devices. It’s a powerful charger, a full 40 watts. I use it to charge my Pixel phone and I noticed for the first time when I plugged it in, the phone said “Charging rapidly.” I had never seen the word “rapidly” on the phone before, so that says something about the charger’s power. Anker says it has a ‘Multi-point safety system” which offers static resistance, current regulation, etc. so it has many features to keep our devices safe. The only negative is that the charger is just a little bigger than I expected. I needed to plug it into the last outlet in my power strip in order to use each of the strip’s outlets. After I did this, it was still great using just one outlet to charge two devices. Bottom line, it’s nice to have a charger with a brand reputation like Anker when charging my devices. The couple of bucks more it might cost is well worth it.

I can’t honestly review this item since it still hasn’t been delivered and it has been over a month!

We spent so much on this item and it broke after 2 weeks. Major let down

I've used quite a few Anker products before and never had any issues with them. This charger is no different and offers great convenience and works great. I'm using this to charge my USB-C electronics; primarily my iPad and Beats earbuds. By themselves, each item charges really fast; much faster than I'm accustomed to which is fine with me. Even when charging both devices at once, it still gets both charged in about an hour or so. Really like however compact this is and provides as much power as it does. The plug doesn't fold so you just kind of have to hope the prongs don't get bent or snag something in your bag/suit case. That said, this is my go-to charger for my devices now and really hopes this lasts me awhile.

It worked for one day and then it never worked again

I received this Anker 521 nano pro charger to test today. It is a dual port usb-c smart charging 40 watt connection. I have a note 20 ultra and this connected easily and went to superfast charging just like the factory brick does. Only issue I have is I only have a few USB c to USB c cords to use this, not quite as common as the USB to usb c. That being said, this does what it says. Pricing is compettative, build and feel of this is good. I recommend it.

I tried this fast charger on a pixel, an iPhone, iPad, and Galaxy phone. All devices benefited in charging speed. Within 30 minutes all devices went from 50% to full and they went from dead to full a little over an hour. The charger does take up a lot of outlet space but since it has two output slots it's convenient and makes up for the bulkiness of the product. Overall, it's a solid buy.

I confess to being a fan of Anker products, having several types in active service. All but one of my current plugs are standard USB. So, for charging phone, laptop, tablets, etc., the cables are USB to USB-C. That’s been OK but in updating some of my devices, I also want to update my charging capabilities. So, from my experience with Anker, I turned to them again. The Powerport III, in addition to looking good, performs like a champion. This duo plug offers 40W (2 x 20W) of charging power. Anker says it works 3x faster than original chargers. I cannot attest to that exact number; however, I can attest to it working a heck of a lot faster than what I have been experiencing. It saves me time, and that’s great in my book. While kicking out charging power to one or two devices at the time, it also provides overload protection for your devices and peace of mind for you. Would I recommend to a friend? My answer is: I am so pleased with the plug that I decided to upgrade my charging cables. New up-to-date cables are now on order, and the brand is Anker.

I really wasn't expecting a lot from this charger, but I was pleasantly surprised! I have fast chargers myself, and I was pretty satisfied with the speed until now! I use the charger for my tablet and cell phone. And it seems like it's charging at least 30% faster than my previous charger. But what I really like about this charger, it's how well made it is. They didn't throw a bunch of cheap materials together to make some money, it seems like they took that time and added quality materials for a charger that's going to last forever! The only thing I would change, is to make it one of those skinnier chargers and not the bulky version for small spaces. Other than that I would definitely recommend this charger for anyone with a newer model phone or tablet.

If you have rechargeable devices, and who doesn't right; you need the Anker - Powerport III Nano Pro Duo 40W Fast Wall Charger (2x 20W USB-C). 40w rapid charge of a single device or 20w plus charging 2 devices. I was able to charge my iPad and my S21 Ultra in quick order and without any issue. The circuitry of the charger is state of the art and provides a good measure of safety. Reasonably priced and worth buying. The Anker - Powerport III Nano Pro Duo 40W Fast Wall Charger (2x 20W USB-C) is a must have this Holiday season. HO H0 HO y'all

Anker usually makes good chargers, this is no exception. Not to big, and it it does fast charging. On both a Samsung tablet and phone the Fast charging indication came on and it charged at the higher rate. You can do two mobile devices at once. I connected it to a 65W laptop and nothing else, and although I got the slow charging notification, it did charge the laptop. Worked fine with most of my USB-C cables. Good build, no issues with it.
