I really wanted this to work....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned mine within a week. I could set up the Roav and work with it until I powered off my Jeep. However, every time I restarted my Jeep, the Roav wanted to be set back up from scratch. It really seemed to hate my phone's bluetooth which, ironically, was a Pixel 3. Sad because when it worked, it did ok. But mostly it just sat there with the stupid orange set up lights on it all the time. This was just not ready for Prime Time.

Great Concept, but Not Ready for Prime Time

Went to the Forums...ditto. This is a very widespread problem, but no one has a clue how to resolve, and the manufacturer's reps are running out of pablum. Too bad. This is a great idea that was put on the market WAY too early.

Almost unusable

The other 30% requires removing it and plugging it back in. 2. The microphone is terrible. Prepare to yell, "HEY GOOGLE!!!" if you want it to hear you. 3. Ground loop noise from the engine is the worst I've ever heard. This makes the product all but useless.

Defective - Returned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it Friday, returned by Monday. got stuck on an infinite loop of "Preparing your Roav Bolt-****" and "try again" it will never finish setting itself up, tried 2 cars, 4 phones, several different wires, same result. I was going to try another unit but they were out at the store.
