Annihilation stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, and Tessa Thompson. I like sci-fi, so I expected to enjoy this movie. Unfortunately, the plot disappointed me. Many of the scenes were very dark, nighttime places. The cause of the problem was some unnamed, alien invasive force. If I could rewrite this movie, I would give it a better ending.

The special effects are great. Not an Oscar material but it will keep you entertained.

Amazing 4K transfer. Thought provoking film. The book was a tough read. This translation to film is without a doubt, a sight to behold.

Ordered the 4k version and was happy with quality and picture. Worth having in my collection (disk and digital). Although not sure how many times one can watch this show!

This is a rather suspenseful sci fi thriller, with excellent performances all around.

This movie looks amazing in 4K! Besides the picture, the story is just great as well. Highly recommend for those who are familiar with this movie and those that aren’t!

this is a substantial difference in picture quality from the Blu-Ray release. The 4K release is an absolute improvement over the standard Blu-Ray It's not even close

A rare mainstream science fiction film that makes you think. Annihilation has awesome visuals and an ending that leaves room for interpretation. Highly recommended.

This movie is one of the best sci-fi movies ever made imo. Super smart, creepy and unnerving. With the current rise in women being moved to the forefront of film, both on screen and off, I have zero clue why this movie wasn't viewed by more people. It's literally women on screen nearly 100% of the time. I just can't say enough good things about this movie. The music (sometimes the lack thereof) and the sound design are spectacular. Just see this movie, I'll leave it at that.

Bold, smart sci-fi is not easy to find, but here is a film with a vision and ideas, and leaves a lot room for interpretation. Well acted, written, and produced.
