Annihilation is a great modern science fiction movie, with awesome effects and a script. The UHD release is stunning on an OLED tv, especially with the Shimmer.

Annihilation's first 10 minutes are strong and build the mystery and suspense. Soon after that, the characters begin to make decisions to advance the plot, and the movie begins to go downhill. The movie will entertain with spectacle, lots of CGI and color to keep the simple part of your brain entertained.

Was not sure what to expect with this one but it was enjoyable if different.
