The movie off the bat tells the source of the shimmer is alien. Then meanders for over an hour with muted mystery. 3 years of exhibitions with no returns? Yeah let's keep sending people in with no breathing protection and let them touch everything.

Written and directed by Alex Garland (the man who directed Ex Machina) comes a disjointed, hard to follow at times movie, that only fans of this director could enjoy. Not a film for me.

I thought this would be a really good movie, but I was completely wrong. Very confusing plot line and finish. Should have waited to rent it for free from the library... yuck!

Not a good movie. I expected much more from Natalie Portman. Definately not too memorable or re-watchable.

It was listed in the top 100 movies of the year by a few critics so I thought I’d give it a try. The last 20 minutes or so was too weird for me.

Annihilation is a one time watch movie. I was hyped up for a good scary SIFY movie, but this turned out to be less than expected.

Save your money, very lackluster movie. The characters and the whole premise of the move had no depth whatsoever.

This movie had a chance to shine and yet it was repetitive and uninspiring. It got an excellent editorial review that obviously means the reviewer did not watch the entire movie. So not only did i waste mine and others time watching Annililation...worse i cant trust the editorial review to have integrity. The good actors in this movie could not save it.

Terrible storyline and terrible ending. A waste of money!!

Was in the hospital when it came out. Couldn’t wait for it to hit 4K Blu-ray, which of course it took longer than most, than a Best Buy exclusive off course, over an hour away for me. Finally the movie, what a dud. Saw there was a vid explaining the ending, a 2yr old could figure out the ending. Bottom Line: save your money and time.

This was just not a good movie. Confusing, weird and hard to follow.

This one was very peculiar. Definitely not what I was expecting.
