Amazing Thermal Paste

I've tried out many different thermal compounds, this one by far takes the gold (in my book). I have reached more stable temps across my gpu, and cpu (AMD FX-8320E 8 Core processor @3.2GHz currently overclocked and stable @3.39GHz) big differences in temps, going from a 5% silver compound to this compound.

The thermal paste makes perfect contact with my after-market cooler, as I was replacing the stock cooler for something better. The contact is firm and I have had no heat issues with my eight-core processor while under heavy load.

I bought this product to use in my new desktop which I was assembling myself. When I got to the point of installing the fan over the CPU, I found that I had to use a product like this, so I went to Best Buy and got it after talking to a technician there. The container is very easy to use and helps you to put the right amount without creating a mess. My new computer is working fine, so I assume that the compound is doing its job well.

Application requires more time / patience compared to silver based compounds. As noted by others this paste is a little thicker than silver based and requires more work to get an ultra thin layer. A proper burn sequence also seemed to make a two degree difference.
CPU ran around 5-8 degrees cooler. Not a big deal if not overclocking / stressing the component. if the price was not so cheap due to poor reviews (less expensive than silver when I purchased), would have just bought silver for my intended use.
Barely used any from tube, expect it to sit around and get plenty more use over the next couple years.

I tinker with a lot of systems, replacing thermal compounds on processors and video cards, and this does the trick just fine. Just make sure to have a steady hand when applying and don't go nuts with it (if it leaks over the sides of the cpu you've put on a little too much).

Better than traditional metallic & ceramic pastes.

While there are some metallic pastes out there with better heat transfer abilities, they will should it run, short out your gear. Ceramic pastes like Ceramique 2 are dielectric, but you take a performance hit.
This is kind of the inbetween. Not as efficient as some metallic compounds like Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra, but better performance than ceramiques while staying dielectric / non conductive.

Best ever - Build a lot of computers and set many processors in motherboards but this product was thick and was a great heat reducer to the processor. Much better performance from this product.

This is some good thermal paste. I had some old arctic silver laying around and it was a little too old. So i ran to bestbuy and grabbed this antec brand. I've never used it before but i was very pleasantly surprised how good it was.

needed to do a clean up on my tower and the cpu was a mess if you don't know this stuff is needed if you remove your CPU heat sink. this stuff is a bit pricey (all of them seem to be) but it's a lot cheaper than if you fry your CPU.

Upgraded CPU. This thermal compound was easy to apply and really is keeping the processors temperature levels where they should be. Very happy with this product. Re-sealable tube allows for re-application if needed in the future!

Not much to say other than work as expected. Using it in conjunction with a cool master seidon 120xl water cooler on an AMD FX 8350 and keeps temperatures between 34C idle and 45C at full load. I do not overclock my computer.

My laptop was getting too hot and shutting down so I decided to take off the fan, clean-it, and place it back using this. It keeps the CPU and CPU quite cool effectively transferring heat from the processors to the heat sin.

Excellent cooling paste for any newer processor. Hated to here that this product would soon not be available at the store due to all computer components no longer are going to be sold there.Hope that changes in the future.

This was my only choice for thermal paste since I needed it and couldn't find it anywhere else locally. It did what it was supposed to. I did not have any problems with it. But then, I don't use thermal compound every day.

Applied to existing CPUs for two computer systems I upgraded the motherboards in. Needed Win 10 compatible BIOS and I didn't want to invest in whole new systems. Installed the new boards and transferred the CPUs and memory sticks from the old motherboards. The processors seemed to run about 15-20F hotter after the transfer which I attributed to breaking the bond between the processor and heat sink during removal and replacement. I removed the old paste and applied the Antec thermal compound and reassembled. Worked like a charm. Running much cooler now.

I recently used this thermal paste on my overheating i5 4690k processor. It was replacing the Noctua thermal paste that came with low profile Noctua heatsink. I've had no overheating issue since.

One of the best TIMs if applied properly

I admit that applying TIM has never been my specialty. I have tried many different kinds and they are all different. I was looking for something that had high ratings and found that this one was near the top but was not as popular as most. I actually bought this one at another store cause it was the best locally. I reapplied many times with avg temps on my cpu. It wasn't until I ran out of that one that I found it available at Bestbuy and went straight there to replenish my supply. This time I found that it had an applicator and used it on another pc I was rebuilding. I applied as thin and equally distributed as I could. I must have got it right cause the temps dropped a lot. I now have more room to overclock this other pc that I applied it cause the thermal wall was extended. This got me excited so I reapplied this on my primary gaming and video editing pc in just the same way. I also network compute (like Folding@Home)and use full resources so things get real hot. I must have got it right cause I dropped at least 5*C at full load. Lastly, from my own research, I read because this stuff is so thick that it is better for heatsinks that are not as flat with grooves. Unlike the flat and very smooth heatsinks that need the thinner and lighter TIM. I will buy again but now that I got it right I can wait a while before I have to re-seat the cpu.
