This antenna works very well and we live in a rural community. We get ABC, NBC,Fox-we don't get CBS but I think if we moved it around or put it in the attic we would pull that station in too. Feels great to not be paying 100 dollars a month for TV that we watch about 4 hours in the evening.

I moved to a loft three years ago and had only one option for cable companies. I refused to use them again so I have been without cable/TV for three years. I recently purchased this and now I can watch my local TV stations. It is a snap to connect and get local tv channels. I moved it to a few different places and all of them work great. The signal this gets channels is just as clear as if it were thru a cable box. I have mine inside a sliding door closet where I have my TV hidden and when I want to watch TV, slide open door and turn on TV and "wah-lah" I have crystal clear local stations. I also like the fact it has different options for the antennae. You can lay it, stand it or hang on wall (comes with necessary hanging accouterments). If I needed a second one, I would def. get another one of these!

I tried multiple receivers before this one that worked on certain channels, but would still go out from time to time. When it came to the super bowl, we couldn't have that, so we tried this one, it's much more expensive than some other options, but all the channels in the area work with very little if any down time. Obviously, it depends on where you live, but this one works for us and the cheaper ones did not.

It gets good reception. The only channel I don't get is PBS, which would be nice to have for my young son. I also tried the Mohu Leaf, but didn't get very many channels at all. I think it a lot of it depends on where you live and the placement of the antenna. This works well for me though. I had to play it high on top of a bookshelf to get the best reception. Its not pretty, but it works.

I bought the antenna to use when weather knocked out our Dish service so we could get local channels. So far it has worked fine. We get most local stations, some over 70 miles away. But due to angle of the signal we don't get a station les than 20 miles away.

so we finally got fed up with the high price of cable for 500 channels that no one watches. this antenna has allowed us to receive anywhere from 31 to 45 channels in the local area. It s not a multi-directional antenna and must be pointed in the general direction of the signals. we chose to go halfway in between 4 different stations and get a decent signal. make sure to use the booster that is included as it will make a huge difference. the HD channels are supper clear and are in Dolbi Digital 5.1.

    Provides Excellent TV Reception

When we decided to cut the cable TV cord, we also wanted to use an internal TV antenna. Our first antenna was an amplified rabbit ear style, which provided decent reception overall but was rather unattractive and required regular adjustment. Over-the-air TV reception is dependent on many things, including proximity to broadcast towers and antenna placement within your home. When it was time to replace our rabbit ears, we tried several different styles of TV antennas before discovering the amplified Micron XG. The amplified MIcron XG has performed exceptionally well for us! It provides consistent TV reception of all of the local UHF channels and requires little adjustment. After initially experimenting with leaving the reflector panel off, we found that having it in place improved reception and is the best way to go. We've also found that the Micron XG works best for us by connecting the in-line amplifier in the summertime when the trees are leafed out, and leaving it off in the wintertime. The staff at our local Best Buy were extremely helpful with our purchase. They know a lot about the products they sell and we appreciated their help. We also placed a call to Antennas Direct, and their customer service department was also very helpful.

    Antenna Signal not constant

I have found the that antenna signal is not constant. The signal varies from time to time. Hanging the antenna on the wall is tricky and with the reception coming and going i don' t recommend it as you have to move the antenna around to get a better signal. Overall this antenna has given me better results than others i have had in the past and i had read that you should try different antennas to see which one works best for your location. MSN Money has an article with tips on how to choose a good antenna the article is called "You can stop paying for cable TV now"

Got rid of cable, and needed something to connect a tube TV in our guestroom. The helpful salesperson at a local store helped me choose this antenna. While it doesn’t get Canadian channels (we live in Buffalo, near the border), it gets all locals and their digital partners. The picture is clear and crisp; it does what we need it to do.

When the stations come in the picture is great. It usually tell me there are 36 stations itscanned. However, I only can see about 10. I can't get ABC, CBS, NBC but Ion comes in great. It is easy to hook up however, I am disappointed in the stations I can receive. If you speak Spanish you might find it to be great since most of the stations are in Spanish

Salesman said it would get topeka channels. It got topeka but not the 2 channels i most wanted 11 and 13. I got a rca 1450 antenna and it seem to get the channels this one gets but it is more stable in picture quality. This may all be due to my location in town. The channel finder say I shouldn't be able to receive any channels at all. I begining to wonder how accurate that site is. Oh well I got a good price on the antenna they priced matched and If i move I'll give both antennas a go and see which one wins out.

i never thought I would ever need to use an antenna again. I recently got married and needed to find a way to cut down on bills. well this did it for me. all I needed was channels to watch football on sundays and I got them with this antenna. I live in chatsworth and I get over 110 channels.

Even though we all pay WAY too much for cable/satellite service there never seems to be any local weather channels in the hundreds and hundreds of channels on these boxes. I have several antennas on different TVs as backup mostly for use of local weather (for severe weather updates and the occasional sports broadcast). Reception for the stronger signal stations is very good, however on the weaker stations this antenna struggles just like the rest of the other in the aisles. Pretty pricey for an antenna, but from what I have found, antenna performance are better in the $75-150 range than the in the lower price ranges. Decent enough buy if it's in your price range.

Bought antenna for local channels. Has to be turned in direction of tower to pick up some but overall satisfied. Tried another cheaper antenna that said it had a farther range but it did not pick up the same channels.

    Good upgrade from cheaper devices

I had a cheaper powered antenna that would not get half the channels I wanted. I decided to upgrade and this antenna got me most the other channels. On channels with strong reception I feel that the picture quality is even better than cable. This antenna did improve reception of channels I could not get before but could not get them all. I don't blame this on the antenna because it is based on the location of the signal and it's strength. If this antenna doesn't pick it up none will. If you need absolute best antenna then by a roof mounted one, but of you need the best inside home antenna this is probably it.

I thought only an outside antenna would work this well in the low country. But we rent so that was not possible. So we tried this antenna and have been very pleased with the quality of the reception.
