Customers are saying

Customers regard the ClearStream Micron XG Indoor Long-Range Digital TV Antenna favorably for its excellent reception and picture quality, finding it easy to install and use. Many appreciate its ability to receive a large number of channels, including HD channels, and its extended range. However, some customers express concerns about occasional signal inconsistencies and the antenna's relatively high price and larger size.

I purchased this one to replace the 'outdoor' antenna I was using in the house. I was not expecting such great reception as I have purchased other indoor antenna's in the past that just did not perform very well. I can stop looking for an indoor antenna now.

This is our first foray into using an antenna after doing away with cable. I tried several different antennas that were not quite strong enough to pull in many stations. This one far outperforms all the others that we tried.

For less than the price of cable you can receive great clarity and free HD in all local channels. Unless you have to have 'all those other channels', Cut the cord, apply the savings to pay for internet and still have money to pay for a vacation.

I wanted an HD tv antenna to see local programs not available on cable. There were cheaper ones but didn't have the range I needed. This one was perfect with longer range and the black color matched well with my living room.

I am a cable subscriber and needed this to watch a blacked out channel, especially now that football season is here. Very good reception, even though I am 30+miles away from the tower. A little rotation of the antenna and the picture was great.

It's got good reception even without power adapter. Left power adapter off since I live in city limits

Very impressive reception--the stations are 40 mi away and not line f sight-- if there are repeaters, I'm not aware of any. This is the indoor model- takes up about 1/2 sq ft of space.

We live in a dead reception area 3 miles out of town. We pick up the local digital stations so there's no cost to us. The only cost was this receiver which works really well. I'm going to get a second one for my TV in my exercise room.

Daughter uses it to supplement Internet streaming service vs. cable or satellite. Works very well at picking up over-the-air broadcasts from stations with towers approximately 25-30 miles away. Good product!

Do not spend more for just an average antenna! Do not take as true the marketing info in the box. I have moved it to several rooms in the house, upper and down level and never works good, the image freezes and it cannot catch ABC. My GE model 24700 works better and even the RCA flat tortilla.... and do not bother to call the 800 support line, it's a joke.

While I am in the middle of the city and most major towers are only about 12 miles away, this antenna would only pick up if I held it up in the window pointed that direction. One of the major networks is the complete opposite direction and this is not a multidirectional antenna. After also trying a different multidirectional antenna, I came to the conclusion that I would have to use an outside antenna. :-( The manufacturers support was GREAT!

Clearly in my area a tall external antenna would be more likely. We just wanted local news. Instead, we traded it in for a Roku and are much happier with that. It was unable to amplify the signal enough to make it intelligible. Maybe in an area with better reception it would work, but then why would you need it? It is also pretty expensive for an antenna.

I don't watch TV much so this one time cost is perfect for me. I'm able to get local channels and some of the larger networks. I have this hiding in a bookshelf next to my TV and it still works.
