Our old rabbit ears did a better job than this antenna. Also, the antenna seemed both flimsy and bulky. I returned for a refund.

Disappointing.

It is unsteady and very awkward. It constantly falls apart. Television reception was very poor.

Posted .So sorry the antenna didn't work in your case. Building obstructions, dense trees, and terrain can work against you especially when all three are present. An outdoor antenna may be the next step. Rooftop installations get the antenna higher and alleviate many obstructions that may be encountered indoors. That said, most people are able to plug the antenna in to the TV, point towards the broadcast towers, scan for channels and have great success. Thank you!
