Customers are saying

Customers regard the ClearStream Micron XG Indoor Long-Range Digital TV Antenna favorably for its excellent reception and picture quality, finding it easy to install and use. Many appreciate its ability to receive a large number of channels, including HD channels, and its extended range. However, some customers express concerns about occasional signal inconsistencies and the antenna's relatively high price and larger size.

Not worth the extra money if a less expensive model works better.

Bought this to replace existing indoor antenna. It was bigger and more expensive so assumed it would be better. Wouldn't pick up two stations I could pick up on my existing antenna. Returned it.

I tried the antenna both at my house, and at my mom's (retirement home) and it didn't work at either place. Our old rabbit ears did a better job than this antenna. Also, the antenna seemed both flimsy and bulky. I returned for a refund.

I purchased this for my mother so that she could have TV in her bedroom (she doesn't have a cable box there) but because we live about 50 miles from the broadcast locations, it is too far to pick up the signal, apparently. Disappointing.

I bought this antenna for my fiancé who lives in Eau Claire, WI. He did not get any more or better channels than when he was using an antenna that was $20 from Wal Mart.

If it worked better it would be great but right now it is not any good because it will not pick signals that are close by. It is set by a large window so it should do better.

Totally regret buying the indoor antenna. Barely works and now my video cassette player doesn't work. It switches off as soon as it is turned on. Cannot afford to waste money on things that don't work.

The antenna comes as two flat pans that sit in a small stand. It looks like two black flat aluminum pancake pans. It is unsteady and very awkward. It constantly falls apart. Television reception was very poor.

We bought this for our motorhome hoping to improve the reception we received. It did not help at all. We returned it to the store. We were in a campground surrounded by trees so perhaps nothing would have helped.

My husband hooked this up so that we might be able to get rid of cable. It worked ok but went out in different weather. We actually returned this item to the store. Did not work for what we wanted.

This antenna looks nice but we live in the country-- that could be why the reception was so poor. But we didn't get very many channels with it. Ultimately we got an outdoor antenna that we love.

Could not get a signal to save my life. It tells you where to try and point it, but it still wouldn't pick anything up. Garbage.

So sorry the antenna didn't work in your case. Building obstructions, dense trees, and terrain can work against you especially when all three are present. An outdoor antenna may be the next step. Rooftop installations get the antenna higher and alleviate many obstructions that may be encountered indoors. That said, most people are able to plug the antenna in to the TV, point towards the broadcast towers, scan for channels and have great success. Thank you! Antennasdirect
