We live in a rural area about 50+ miles from local broadcasters. Surrounded by trees on three sides. The digital tv map said we'd get about 18 channels with some of them possibly being out of range. We ended up with 26! Did I mention they're FREE! Haven't been through a winter yet, but it appears sturdy enough to withstand a winter snowstorm. Rooftop installation was quick and simple. Took about an hour from start to finish.

We are in a valley less than 30 miles from 2 sets of broadcasting towers in Boston and Providence. We are able to get both sets of stations once we added the RCA pre-amplifier. We still get pixelation, and may have to get a better amplifier. However, it does seem to pick up all the channels we were looking for.

We live in the country and were tired of paying soaring prices for satellite tv. We researched antennas and chose this one for the price and features. We get 28 digital channels (all free!) in our area and are very pleased with the reception and picture quality on our 55" LG smart TV. We've had it for about a year now and have had no problems as of yet. Installation took less than 30 mins and was simple.

Happy with it. It has received the channels I wanted from 40 miles away. Other ones did not do the job.

This worked great! It picked up stations broadcasting up to50 miles away. Over the air was clearer than using a dish.

Caught this model on sale, which sealed the deal, though I would be happy if I'd paid regular price. Attic installation gave me a cleaner, interference free picture. I was able to go from 13 channels on my previous in room setup to 26 channels.

This one works very good and provides cable quality channels. I got a few more using this one that the flat ones.

I bought this antenna because I was tired of throwing away money for year's and year's for satellite and cable....I receive 13 channel's and 7 are in HD!

Wanted to get rid of cable . husband attach this to a pole ran wire through attic . We get lot of channels. No cable bill !!

Excellent antenna. read the specs.. Easy to assemble... Packaged well...

I bought this for a remote area in Alaska but need something with about 90 mile reach. 100 mile reach would be ideal then I could get tv signal. I'm sure it would work just fine closer to signal source. This is a tv antenna which was rated for 65 mile radius.

I ended up buying the same concept, but smaller footprint.

I have a DB4 and just installed the DB4E for another station location. For a direct comparison the DB4E is a slightly larger antenna that the old DB4. The DB4E maybe increases the gain over the DB4 by about 2db. So using the DB4 I can pull in stations approximately 70 miles installed in my attic. Note: depending on terrain and station transmitting power this may vary. The DB4E installed pointing in the same location in my attic will receive a station 84 miles away that theDB4 could not receive. Now I would not run out and replace my old DB4 for a DB4E. The station I received was another CBS feed with a substation showing a radar images. If you were going to pull in another station that was not a feed you already receive then yes it would be worth it. The DB4E is a quality built antenna Like the DB4. I like the fact that the DB4E bays don't have sharp edges like the old DB4.

Installed this antenna and with great TS from Antennas Direct on line thru BestBuy scanned TV after install, immediately got 24 channels, channel 11 would not come in but TS suggested a powered splitter using antenna in and rescanned and now gets channel 11 for a total of 27 channels. antenna pointed East N East with trees and home obstructions, could never receive this many channels with previous antennas.

I live in the reception area for two cities and can only get a max of 4 channels. when i used my traditional antenna, i could get 14 channels. I expected more channels with a long range antenna and when i get fog, rain or any weather the channels break up more often than not.
