Best Antenna on the Market

I love, love, LOVE this antenna. It’s the best one out there hands down. I cut my cable. I live in an area with spotty reception. I was fed up with the poor quality antennas that promised perfect 1080 HD and claimed to pull stations in as far away as 60 miles so I purchased this. And I was blown away. The crystal clear reception and pure audio sound makes this a no brainer.
This antenna can be used both outside and outdoors. It comes with all the things you need for either placement. Mine is inside.
Best decision and worth the price.

I recently moved and am about 35 miles away from a major TV market and live in a second floor apartment. The TERK sheet antenna that I already had only pulled in 17 channels hanging in my window. I special ordered the ANTOP Mini “Big Boy” and plugged it in. It brought in 44 channels on a stand near the same window. I was able to pull all the local channels I needed...NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS plus many extras. I popped the antenna out on my balcony to test it outside... 64 channels!
The antenna is decent sized but not too big, includes an amplifier that attaches separately, so you can opt to use it or not. You can choose to mount it outside or use the included stand to place it inside. The included 33’ coaxial cable means you don’t have to pick one up unless you want something shorter. The outside mounting hardware is nice quality if you need it.
I would not hesitate to recommend this antenna. It exceeded my high expectations.

We have had this antenna now for 8 months & have gone thru a few seasons. We are ~50 miles from the broadcast channels & this covers a 70-80 mile range which should be enough. The results have been mixed & not consistent. But I think that may be from the many other factors that affect antenna reception. The summer was the worst reception and now in fall we get many more channels in better. I would still recommend as it seems to be one of the best choices in the current market. The price was higher than we expected to pay to replace the 'old rabbit ears'.

I was using the flat antenna that you'd have to stick the wall or a window. Reception wasn't all that bad, as I was able to pull in 20 to 40 channels with it. The main drawback however, was the constant repositioning and scanning. Each time That was done, a lot of my favorite channels were totally out.
Got this Antop Big Mini a couple weeks ago and I have to say that I am very pleased with its performance. I'm located near Largo, Md and the furthest TV tower is 33 miles away to the northeast of me and all of the others are west, with the furthest 17 miles. The antenna was super easy to setup and on my initial channel scan, I picked up 40 channels while the antenna was sitting next to my TV to test it out. When I placed it as high as I could get it, and pointed it west toward the towers, it picked up 87 channels, including those 33 miles away! Indoors! The reception is crisp and clear on most channels, although a few have some issues with pixilation periodically, probably because some stations turn down their signal at certain times. Overall, it's a handsome buy and will save me 100+ bucks a month for cable TV programs and services that I rarely even watched or used.

I live approx 40 miles north west of Atlanta. I am using this antenna inside of my home and I followed the positioning recommendations from ANTOP. Just so you know, my home backs up to a hill about 30ft tall. I needed to position the antenna in the South East direction eventhough it is viewing things straight into the hill. With this antenna I can receive all of my Atlanta OTA channels. I tried 2 of the much less expensive amplified antennas that said they have 100 mile range, etc. They were cheap and simply didn't work. This ANTOP antenna was well worth the purchase.

I made the painful decision to cancel my directv sub not long ago, and so I've had to make sure that I can get local channels rock-solid. I've gone through about a half-dozen antennas (there are several tvs in my house) before getting this one.
Just to give you an idea, the antenna that this replaced was a powered antenna that cost about $30, and was able to pull in, at best, around a dozen channels, and that's after a lot of moving it around and finding the best spot. But the real kick in the pants was that I wasn't able to pull in one of the major networks no matter what I did. So I bought this one in desperation.
I plugged this in, and immediately was able to get double the number of channels, plus the network channel I wasn't able to get! Even though this is an expensive antenna, I've very very happy that I got it.
It's around a foot tall btw, and they give you some stuff to mount it to the wall if you want to do that, but it also comes with a stand (which is what I'm using).

I live in an arial dead zone roughly 100 miles from the “local” broadcasters. I was not surprised that I couldn’t get all of the local channels. It did pick up two of the six local channels with enough signal to clearly view them. I will be looking for either a means of further increasing signal or a longer range product.

This is an excellent antenna! I got way more than I expected when I purchased this. It's a beast! Nobody expects to get great reception when you live in a valley like we do. I was just hoping to get one local news channel that I wanted. I'm so impressed by this antenna. We have so many channels now. I can't even believe it! And, that is without even trying. We just having it sitting inside on our mantel. If we put it outside and messed around with it for awhile, I can't even imagine what we'd get. It's truly better than cable! I highly recommend this to anyone!

Replaced Spectrum cable and saved $102 per month. Only gets over the air signals, but receives them in HD. Don't get ESPN or other cable only networks, but wasn't watching them enough to pay $102. Comes with an amplifier that only works with some TVs; my Samsung used the amplifier, but my Sony had a built in amplifier so it did not accept the amplifier included with the antenna. Just disconnect the amplifier and plug the antenna directly into your TV.

I live in northern Virginia within the reception areas of DC and Baltimore stations. I am very impressed with the VHF capability as when the dipoles are fully extended they are longer than the ones on Clearstream models. I was able to receive WBAL, which broadcasts on VHF and it is around 43 miles away. Unfortunately, the UHF elements only received a couple of the Baltimore stations; it picked up all the DC ones. I live in a brick high rise condo building that impact signal strength.
Since it didn't quite get all available stations from both markets, I returned it and I will try a regular "Big Boy" model since the UHF portion is larger. I would recommend the Mini Big Boy to those living less than 35 miles to be able to receive all channels reliably.

I wanted an antenna that would pull all local stations in my area. This is for a small kitchen area TV. I had bought two other antennas that would pull around 50 miles, but for some reason they didn’t pull NBC, Fox and UHF channels. Well using this for the first time, I hoped it would be worth the money AND to my surprise, it is. It pulled all my missing locals and a few others. I am so glad for getting this.

We went from no television to 39 channels with no cable! We did have to upgrade our television as we had an older television without digital capability but it was well worth it. In a rural area where cable and internet are not consistent, this was a great buy.

Live in a bit of an enclave in a very dense apartment complex and it captured all the local channels very well while being kept indoors near a window. Better than smaller flat wall options I had tried previously.

Easy to set up, with clear information sheets and an installation booklet. The power module, in the line from the antenna to the TV, is labled with which is "the antenna" connector and which is "TV" connector There is a hugely long coax cable included BUT not a simple 3 foot cable! For an indoor, next-to-the-TV, set up, that is a huge oversight. BUT, in our cellar I found several 3' coax cables, used in the past, so: no worries.
The TV had been programmed for when the previous, now-failed, antenna had been set up, so as soon as all was connected and turned on reception was immediate and many stations came in, most with no pixillation. We're in Boston area ao we're getting strong reception. Very pleased with the simplicity of the setup and with immediale reception over many channels.

I like that it sits up and can be easily moved around and when there is a picture that doesn't break up it is a quality picture. I did not find any more channels than the window pad variety antenna found but it doesn't seem to pixelate quite a often.
