Not able to get channels without other antennas connected. It’s worth it to avoid cable bills. Mounted on top of roof close to Houston

Installed this in the attic space of house gable end facing most of the area TV towers. Picked up 37 stations, clear signals all.

Sadly, we could not get this antenna to work. Our old antenna (15 yrs old) worked better and caught twice as many channels.

I put this up in April thinking that it would be the perfect design for omni directional reception. I was right, I picked up 26 channels. The rub is the first storm that came through with only 35 mph winds snapped the cheap plastic bracket! (Would hate to see what 50-60 mph winds would do to it!) By this time I couldn't find the receipt so that was that. I saved the amp and made an antenna from a design on the internet and it works just as well!
