Easy set up, and you can either call into monitored location or just "check in". fish eye like view, night vison feature, and limited distance/camera view results in a loss of real detail that can be seen remotely. Best to test remote view when setting up in new location to be sure you can see what you need to. I'm considering replacing it with Nest.

Love this; have in all rooms. Easier to call people versus yelling, especially in a 3 story house. Great to call the kids and keep an eye on them.

As far as intercoms go this is the best off the shelf solution and the easiest overall set up in intercoms that I have come across, personally used or read about. When it comes to set up, it is incredibly easy and self-explanatory. Anyone should be able to take it out of the box and use it immediately. When it comes to Integrations with a smart home this is where this piece of Machinery has the most significant potential but as of now is still falling short. Sadly, it only integrates with Amazon Alexa and the ring doorbell, of which I have neither. I am hoping it that as new updates come out that support for the Google home and Philips Hue lighting along with other security systems and home automation Technologies follow suit. Until then I still love it for what it does and of course the "peeking" feature whenever I'm away from home.

Nucleus is perfect for monitoring my elderly dad. Easy to activate & mount or simply leave on the table or counter. I can check in to make sure he's ok & we can video chat as well. The camera has a night vision mode which is very helpful. No monthly service charge, all you need is WIFI & a smartphone. It has access to Alexa if you turn it on. I have it off. Appearance is sleek & simple, light weight yet feels like quality construction. The only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars is occasionally the connection takes a couple of attempts - in all fairness though, this might be a WIFI issue with the provider versus anything to do with the Nucleus device. Still a solid choice. I have been able to be more at ease having the Nucleus access to check up on my father.

We purchased this for my mother-in-law to reach us easily throughout the house and remotely. Simple to use and performs as expected inside the house and on the road. Integration with Ring and Alexa are excellent features.

Got this solely due to it working with the ring doorbells. Currently It only works when someone actually rings the doorbell but there currently working on the addition of motion alerts as well. Otherwise it works great and I no longer have to find my phone to see who rang the doorbell I just look on the intercom screen.

Within 5 minutes we were up and running with an entire house intercom. No issues since setup

I want to buy another one to test the intercom system out. Good cam andworks good with calls to phones, displaying music info, and with my ring doorbell. A nice addition to my smart home.

I hope there they're not done with the updates. Its cool. I use it as an intercom as well as remotely between my brothers. Push to video chat instantly with out the hassle of sign-ins. I hope they update the alexa feature.

I am using these with ring. They are connected Alexa as well. I get an intercom + Alex in 1 unit.

We REALLY wanted to like these -- the idea of a video intercom system that could be access remotely and is only $99/unit was too tempting to pass up. Unfortunately, it was also too good to be true. We purchased three of them and put them in various areas of our home. The video resolution was sorely lacking. In some lighting, it was hard to tell specifics like facial features -- or if my child was in bed staring at the ceiling or actually sleeping. I could see way clearer through my iPhone. The final straw was when we attempted to use the system outside of home. My husband and I went to an event; we intended to "check in" on the individual cameras and also do video calls. NEITHER worked properly. It would often say the devices were offline even though they weren't. We would close the app, reopen it, the satellites would align, and then magically it was back online. We'd open the app at the same time and get different statuses for each device on either of our phones. When we actually did get a video call to connect, the resolution was super choppy and sound would cut out. Eventually, we gave up on the thing as a whole and returned it the very next day. It is a great idea but not worth the purchase. Wouldn't recommend.

We got this because our 4 year old was scared at night. Now he can call us whenever he needs something.
