I bought this monitor for first person shooter gaming and although my fps's are sitting at about 100, this monitor has brought higher illumination to darker area's of map. Using calibration's recommended in Tom'sHardware review of this monitor has saved me day's of fiddling as with my asus vh238 which never reached the deep colors this monitor produces. Am very happy. Now a word about Best buy, I don't know why i ever stopped buying parts from them,They always provided outstanding service and warranty option's. Just after my purchase I had some concerns and calling their service center and talking to a real person without waiting for hours who was competent and able to answer my question's was refreshing. Next build I will check here first.

I really like this monitor. Some people complain that it is too bright and out of the box color settings are too washed out. They are right but it is very easy to correct. You can search and find calibrations settings online and try them. You have to tweak the settings yourself and play with them a little. You can get a very good color picture on this monitor. Games play very nice at 144hz, nice on text, and for internet surfing. 144hz is only available with a dual link dvi (included) or displayport cables. It comes with various cables but no displayport. I had no problems using a good certified displayport cable like ...Accell DisplayPort 1.2 Cable about ($12). Best Buy matched a competitor's price for $160 for this gaming monitor. It has a very solid base and easy height adjustment. I highly recommend the AOC 2460pqu monitor.

Easy to setup and calibrate. Beautiful colors. I usually run around 120 fps and it's as smooth as can.be. would definitely recommend.

First DP monitor, very pleased with the price and picture quality.

This had a good price but it has issue. first i cant get the display port to work on any PC. called support and was told its a known issues with no fix yet. You relay need to work with the settings to get it to look good but still issues with the colors looking faded

We bought these for our gaming team and they work great. Perfect for LoL or Gears of War.

Got it for a good price but the Display port will not work and the colors are hard to get adjusted. they just look washed out

Bought it as my first "gaming" monitor and couldn't be more pleased! Looks great and provides everything a casual online FPS gamer would need. Great bang for the buck as I was not looking to spend 1/2 of what my pc cost for a monitor.
