I didn't use the stand as I have a ergo monitor arm. The arm attached easily to the vesa mount on the back. The monitor fired up right away, no dead pixels and only minor adjustments to suit my taste. With a 3 year warranty (1 on the panel 3 on the electronics) , I believe this to be an excellent buy I have experienced no light bleed, and the colors appear reasonably accurate. I don't play games but do use it for music recording/editing with Protools and it fills the bill perfectly. Great price for a very large monitor.

My 2005 Dell XPS 600 held its own with main stream PCs sold until this year. The new AOC 27" PC monitor is the absolute best bargin on price I've seen. The quality of image clarity is brilliant. The only down side is my old PC doesn't have the drivers to support the higher resolution this monitor packs. It took some work to get the instructions and play with the resolution that was best supported by my old PC, but WOW! What an incredible upgrade from the old 21" I was using. The biggest improvements? 1) e-mail and web searching - no need for glasses to see the fine print and 2) Watching High Def movies is a joy. No comment here about monitor sound because I use a separate Bose sound system. I haven't done any gaming for years. If someone does, I recommend taking the extra effort to install the drivers to tap into all the resolution this monitor packs. Price? Best Buy deal of the day $200 Jan 2013 (brand new - not a refurbish either). The best price I saw on anything close to this was $250-$350. I highly recommend this monitor brand, AOC, for a best value monitor size upgrade. I have no regrets or problems with it.

you can't beat the price....works great....large screen...power button is different than other monitors I've had, but it works

Clear easy on the eyes and easy to read. Colors appear to be true and splitting the screen is a real plus for this monitor.

I like the 2ms response time for games and I only paid 150.00 for it so a real bargain.

I was pleased with this monitor. Never heard of the brand but I would buy another. Thinking of going with dual monitors. Great price for the size.

Now, I use this monitor mostly for programming but the speakers have proven to be a useful bonus since i don't have stand alone speakers (I usually use headphones). I would recommend this monitor to anyone who needs a 27" monitor and doesn't want to spend a great deal of money. The picture quality is nice and the monitor isn't extremely wide like some of those newer 27" monitors you see. All in all, great purchase, I'd purchase another if it went on sale again.

Solid Monitor. Used for gaming.. Good color no blur.

Using this as my primary monitor, and still working well. Not a high-end monitor, and not the best for high-graphic images. The speakers are a nice bonus as an affordable option for sound, but best to connect an external speaker for better audio.

Love this screen, picture is great and you can adjust it to fit your individual viewing purpose.
