Easy to install. Provides the power protection I need. One desktop computer, monitor, modem, router and phone will stay up 10-15 minutes. I pulled the plug and tried it.

This was a must for my business! It is very reliable and has plenty of plugins for all my divices including my computer. My only problem was that it put my computer into to much of a deep sleep. I corrected the problem through the settings and it works out just great! I would recommend this item to all small businesses.

I wanted to replace an unreliable UPS that let me down, so I went back to a familiar name: APC. I like the features and the fact you can replace the battery, I can't speak to its reliability and durability, for i just got it, but I tested it and it held everything up with an amazing amount of battery time (346 minutes!) without power. I'm well satisfied with this unit's features and efficiency.

It was a cold winters night and the lights began to flicker. Just when I thought all was lost I heard the alarm from my APC Battery Backup go off. The mathematical formula for my perpetual motion machine was safe, it had not been lost in the power outage.

I found these on the clearance shelf at Best Buy at a price that was less than replacement battery cost for my existing units. They work great and have saved my computer equipment several times during power outages and lighting storms.

Purchased to provide power backup and clean voltage to my home NAS box. Doubles for clean voltage to my gaming PC. No issues to date.

Buy it if it's on sale, I always use APC backup products.

So far the system works really well. I got it to replace another UPS system I was using that needed to go to another computer. I really like the software that came with it that gives approximate time remaining on charge and shutdown the computer automatically after a defined time. I like the power saver thing too. Overall, has been working really well and has saved me three times from power outages.

All I ever got was APC, they are the best, been getting them for the last 5 years. they really changed since 3 years ago. easy set-up, works great. will get APC when this one goes out .

I live out in the sticks and the power isnt all that there reliable, so I began searching the web for a good power back up at a fair price. Luckily I checked out best buy, online. I found this beauty and it was on special. It was the best back up for under $150 out there. And now that Ive got it installed, I would have paid $150 for it , no lie. One thing I would warn about, it has 3 power settings, energy saver/ bad, and Balanced/ ok, but holds back max power / I prefer the High Performance setting just to peak the PC. It defaults at Med (balanced) until you change it. I missed that when I hooked it up. I love it, its sleek, modern design, has tons of bells and a warning buzzer that wakes the dead, LOL. Its got plenty of outlets, I did add a 3 recepter cube plug in to one of the battery slots, just for the small stuff, clock radio/ 6 volt power adapter for the cordless phone. This baby does it all for me. Im NOT sorry I bought this beauty. I rarely write reviews but I got such a great price on this I had to write about this thing. You should be vey happy with this priceless piece of mind !

Connected to my windows home server (WHS), cable modem, and wireless router. Connected unit to my WHS using USB cable. and installed software. After fully charging, I unplugged to test. Server ran for about 10 min before shutting itself down. Cable modem and router continued to run for another 15 min. Worked great!

We had a power outage within a couple of days after I installed this and it worked like a charm. Everything in the house went down but the computer and our wireless network. :-)

After returning a Tripplite from another store that didn't work at all I picked up this APC from bestbuy an it has been great so far. I haven't had any power--outages yet, but I have tested by switching the power off in the house to that outlet and it worked like a charm. The software is great, intuitive, and give you a great visual of the stats of the unit and has places to make changes to the specification of the unit. Overall, very thoughtful unit with some nice and simple features.

These units provide good strong protection while under their warranty. After the warranty expires you can expect them to fail within months of the expiration date. When they do the controller usually goes out making the unit worthless since a battery replacement will not fix a bad controller.
