If you don't have a battery back up for your computer, tv, network, etc., you should pick up one of these. Does the job.

Having considered other power strips with similar features, I chose this APC model based on other positive reviews.

More stuff than I needed. Only needed back up outlets. Did not need the connections for computer control. This unit was on sale for less money than a smaller size of another brand so the choice was easy.

For some reason I'm getting a message that I need to connect it to the sun plug in order to have battery backup. I've never had to do that before. And I wouldn't want to leave it that way.

After six years my old backup failed. The new backup has plenty of backup time so you don't have to rush.

The 700Va is reasonably priced with plenty power to protect an individual computer and/or its accessories.

It is a great value when the power goes off at different times during normal times and during storms.
