I was looking for a more compact size APS that still provided adequate protections and I found it with this product. Easy directions and installation.

So you go out and buy a new computer, a monitor or 2, a backup hard drive, a web cam, you rush home and use some $4.99 power strip to provide all the power. BAD IDEA ! APC makes some of the Best power supply and surge protection equipment out there, across a broad array of needs. Check them out, they deliver! This one is replacing one I bought 6-years ago, I truly feel as if I've gotten my monies worth from it.

You will be so grateful to have this when the power goes out, as it gives you plenty of time to shut down your computer and accessories. Our last back-up lasted over 6 years until a storm caused a power outage and when the power finally came back on, our computer and accessories worked but the backup took the brunt of the storm, thank goodness we had it.

Had these previously and they work well. I've since replaced the original batteries to extend their lives. Bought 3 more on sale to use for battery backup for smart TV's. It's hard on the equipment when the electricity flashes off and on quickly and also causes the Comcast router/boxes to have to reboot. Putting APC's on line eliminates this.

Provides protection in the power outage prone South Florida. APC have always been solid performers and this model provides a bit more juice than the entry level ones. It connects to my computer for a clean shutdown, either with built in Windows settings or the software by APC.

I bought this surge protector to replace one I've had for years. So far it is doing its job.

I haven't had it for long so I can't say how it will behave during a Florida summer but I have another APC BacktUPS so I'm confident it will do its job. The feature I like is that I can plug my computer into a specific place and the peripherals in another and, when I turn the computer off or it shuts down itself, the peripherals also shut down. It may not seem like much but I love it.

I have used APC UPS backups with both personal and professional computer systems and trust them to protect my equipment. I also have used APC surge protectors for many years. I have recommended APC products to family and friends. I purchased this APC backup as a Best Buy Daily Deal for a great price.

Works great, just be sure to install software to set parameters to where you want the battery to kick-in during power fluctuations and power outages. If your device doesn't have the software disc, you can download the software from company website.

The two units purchased had worked without a hitch so far. I don't think we had any power outages this past month, but I have tested the APCs twice this month by unplugging the APC from the wall, and the computers and other devices plugged into them continue operating without problems. So far, I am pleased with both units purchased.

Had what was needed & easy to install, also at a good price.

This back up has tallied how many times its saved me and the running number currently is 30 black outs, so it is definitely knowing. It beats spending thousands of dollars on much needed electrical work. I highly recommend this product!

This UPS battery from APC is great !! I use it with an iMac (retina display), a bedroom lamp, a laser printer and a charger for my phone. I have only tested once when we had a power outage and it worked perfectly letting me save all my work and even finish some work I had to do, I didn't know how long the battery lasted because the power came back after 5 or 6 minutes later. The only thing is that it emits a loud (for my ears at least) beeping sound which was kind of annoying but other than that it is a great battery backup unit helping keep your equipment running during a power outage or to save files if you are on a desktop computer and more.

Powerful battery backup. Great feature with the MASTER outlet used to control the other outlets, if you choose to use it. I like the MASTER outlet so that everything power down when the MASTER (CPU) is powered off. A nice unit! The best UPS we have ever used.. Highly rated!

I needed a UPS and surge protector for a new computer and wanted the APC brand as I own a few and they are excellent and reliable. This has a good number of outlets and the wattage to handle my requirements - works well to protect my investment. I highly recommend.

Had to get an UPS to stop my router and from glitching after short power outages and so far it has done great. However, haven't had to test it yet against a significant power outage so that is why it isn't five starts. Got it on sale (yes even cheaper than Costco) so in that price range ($60-70) I doubt you will find a better value. APC has always been reliable IMHO so not really surprised.

I've been using using APC products for UPS and surge protection . this provides adequate power backup for a desktop computer and a couple peripherals. the last one lasted 4 years with the battery being fully functional. hope this lasts just as long.

It works as expected. Easy to setup and much smaller in size than the older ones of the same capacity. The transformer spaced outlets were a plus.
