Customers are delighted by the Back-UPS 700VA UPS's long battery life and its reliable performance. Many appreciate its surge protection capabilities and ease of use, along with the unit's compact size and reasonable price. While some users found the outlet spacing to be insufficient, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this minor drawback. The included software is also a plus for many users.

This battery back up/surge protector is perfect for our needs. We live in the country where lightning and power surges as well as power outages are common. With this equipment we can be sure our computers are well tended.

Bought a Cyberpower originally. The thing was DOA. I decided to pay a little more for this one, and have not been disappointed yet. It hasn't given me a single issue. Using it for a higher-end gaming pc + 2 monitors.

APC much better than CyberPower

The APC can be programmed to accept a wider range of power input, so it works with my DC-to-AC inverter. The CyberPower could not be made to do that and their help desk told me flat out to "buy a different brand."

Easy to use. A little heavy and bulky but will get the job done.

Stick with APC, they are the leader! Always works and protects my sensitive equipment. Make sure to not overload, buy additional units if needed. And remember they don't last forever, usually about 2-3 years.

This is a good unit to protect my entertainment system. I do like the wide spacing for "wall warts" that are becoming more prevalent. The plugs are stiff so push firmly. The only drawback is the power cord isn't as long as some simple $8 power strips. This may be due to shielding or power classification requirements.

The battery backup provides me with peace of mind given the power outages experienced in the area in which I live. This product had two fewer outlets and a shorter power cord than my last one so I have given it an average rating.

My prior APC UPS battery died and this model matched the specs and was only mildly more expensive than a new battery and with frequent blackouts and brownouts a new UPS was needed.

APC has been my go-to UPS for years. They have just enough ports and a cord long enough to allow for the UPS to be below your desk even if you don't have an outlet close-by.

Having this back up option when the power goes out makes me feel confident that I have time to power things down in an orderly manner and not lose any critical information.

Would have given an excellent rating but the phone line protection ports did not work with my DSL line though earlier models had. Got a Back-UPS 750 UPS which worked fine. Also, bought a 450 Network model that provides protection ports for Ethernet cable. Love the APC UPS's.

I bought this as an upgrade from an APC E350. I've had it for 10 years and it has worked great when needed. I needed more outlets, so I got this one. Also was a good deal for 49.99

We've been using APC Back-UPS for the past 10 years and always had good luck with them protecting our computers and electronics. The only down side that we've run into is that replacing the battery is almost as much as buying a new unit so we're not able to recycle as much as we prefer.

We have multiples of these in our office for power surges or outtages and they work great. 4 outlets are on the battery backup, the others are not.

It works fine but doesn't have a lot of capacity to support a lot of devices (it has more than enough plugs for the capacity). It has one feature that caused me to regret the purchase - you can't turn off the audible alarm. If the power goes off or if you have a brown out the alarm goes off and won't stop until the condition is corrected or you power off the unit (and everything thats connected to it). That's a VERY BAD feature. Spend the extra bucks and get a UPS that allows you to turn off the audible alarm (like the larger APC 1500VA unit) - you'll be happy you did (or, if you don't, you'll regret the decision one of these days - if you'r lucky it won't be at 3 am...).
