Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the Back-UPS 700VA UPS's long battery life and its reliable performance. Many appreciate its surge protection capabilities and ease of use, along with the unit's compact size and reasonable price. While some users found the outlet spacing to be insufficient, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this minor drawback. The included software is also a plus for many users.

Works fine, just poor design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The plugins are to close together. I don't understand why they would put such little space between them. If you have any wide plugs you lose the use of one of the plugins. Also they put a sticky label over the plugins that leaves a residue on the backup . It looks nasty and of course dust will stick to it.

Jury Still Out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period and so far so good (13 power interruptions in the last 10 days). However, I've been hearing it cycle (as if it's experiencing electrical noise) and my other devices in the same room are not doing that. These cycles don't register with the SW (I'm connected via USB). For how it's performed so far, it would get 5 stars save the worrisome behaviors that make me wonder if it's going to stand up to my unstable power company. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I'd still recommend, especially at the sale price $59.99.

Paid for itself
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using a desktop (iMac), versus notebook, for the first time in years. Purchasing a UPS was almost an afterthought, but I am glad that I did. The unit was easy to install. I was confused by software options, there were none for Mac. I should have known, Mac was smart enough to recognize UPS and set up quickly without software from APS. Lost power the other day; right in the middle of an important project. APS performed flawlessly and saved the day. Easy to install Works great Don't go home without one!

Works as intended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the 550 version lasted about five years inside of a cabinet this one works as intended after upgrading hardware and drawing more power. 700 watts is perfect.
