I bought this to plug my PS4 and X box 1 into since I have frequent power failures at my home. The power has "flashed" a few times since I purchased this equipment and it has saved my gaming systems from being fried.

This UPS does a great job of smoothing out the rough spots caused by frequent brown outs. Don't let one take out an expensive piece of electronics. Also has ethernet protection to keep your network safe, too.

Got this on a daily deal at a great price. Simple hook-up and since it turns off the peripherals when the computer goes into sleep mode am sure we are saving energy while protecting the computer.

Hello all, If you have been an IT professional for years, you know APC is the standard when it comes to battery backups. We've used Tripplite, and Cyberpower and prefer the APC units. This unit is no exception, you can tell just by the weight of the box when you pick it up vs. the Cyberpower. Not all UPS units are equal-- don't skimp when it comes to power protection, the extra $ you save with an inferior product will cost you later. They provide a network cable to not only protector your power supply in your PC, but also your Ethernet port (which can save your motherboard if networking is integrated). I almost gave 4 stars because it doesn't include a USB cable for connectivity to your computer but that is a commodity and low cost item to add and only if you are protecting a machine that you want graceful shutdown in the event of an extended power outage. If you Google Powerchute Personal Edition you can find and install that on your PC as well for some great power related info and proper shut down capabilities. Buy it, use it, love it. This UPS is a great investment, we don't install a PC for our customers without one (PS - when it does die in 2-3yrs, 90% of the time you can just buy a new battery vs buying a new UPS)

I purchased this for my home office and it is just what I needed. It has already come in handy with a power outage in my neighborhood.

APC makes a good battery backup and this is one of them. Good middle of the road capacity at a good price.

I HAVE SEVERAL POWER SURGE DEVICES SIMILAR TO THIS ONE AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM. I WILL RECOMMEND IT WITHOUT HESITATION

I have installed this for my main PC workstation. Once I completed the install and completely charged the battery. I then unplugged the power and I worked for another 5 minutes before saving and powering down and this unit handled my external drive, monitor and tower. At the same time, I have not been forced to use this during a real power outage when I would be scrambling for a light..

Does what the package says it does. Went on vacation and didn't worry that I could not sign into my computer at home.

this is a great and simple UPS for a small load. I wouldn't expect to run alot of this unit. But for a small draw it's great. The price was great too with the sale.

Wish this product lasted for over 24 hours on the backup. My equipment is very expensive and can never be turned off and during a long power outage, this battery only lasted about 2-3 hours then shut off. Not very happy about that but otherwise does the job.
