Wish this product lasted for over 24 hours on the backup. My equipment is very expensive and can never be turned off and during a long power outage, this battery only lasted about 2-3 hours then shut off. Not very happy about that but otherwise does the job.

I'm using the APC 700VA for my DirecTV Genie DVR -- it's great protection, with a tested runtime around 35 minutes. Perfect for the monsoon season here in Tucson.

We have all of our clients on backup batteries for printers, servers, computers, point of sale systems, routers, network switches, etc. It gives the power that is needed to keep the system up while backup generators kick on. (Typically 30-90 seconds). Without the backup generator, these batteries would only give 20-40 minutes of power, which is still decent. Not recommended for long term power outages.

Classic battery backup, easy to setup and configure. Works as advertised.

I have 3 at home--2 for iMac's & 1 for Modem & Router on my network. These are the original ones bought over 5 years ago & have just replaced the internal batteries. We get outages every so ofter here in SC primarily due to storms so these work great & keep the computers & internet access alive!

Awesome surge and battery backup protection. Great for Florida lightning storms.

I bought two of the APC Back-UPS 700VA UPS to protect my electronic equipment. I was a little skeptical at first because I had bought another brand of UPS and it stopped working after two days and I had to return it To Bestbuy. However, these APC ones worked great from day one and they have been protecting my electronic equipment through several thunderstorms now.

I got this for backup power for one of my DVR's. It does the job though the design of it is ugly. Haven't had the power go out yet for a long enough period to know how long it will last.

This is a great Battery UPS for the price. I searched on line for a UPS and this one was the best.

Easy set up and software installation. Much needed for the times our electric goes out. Gives you time to finish your work, save or shut down.

As noted in my summary it has 10 ports for plugging in various computer components and extras- like even a lamp . Since my office has limited wall sockets and not all in the best location, this enables a lot of flexibility and protection.

I am using this more for surge suppression than battery backup. Does keep the TV and cable box on for a couple of seconds for a momentary outage.

Works fine. This 700 watt unit replaced a 600 watt unit that wouldn't hold in power outages.

I've used many APC UPS for 15 years at least. They protect everything from home components to servers. They have great tech support.

I think it is a very good product other than USB connection I haven't figured out how it is suppose to be connected to the UPS.

The price was good, but the plugs were to close together. Which made it hard to install. There were not enough plugs for what I needed.

This battery provides the sufficient power and protection for my computer and several other apparatus. It gives me peace of mind.

Recently purchased and not had to rely on it, but we needed something in case of a storm/surge so we could keep our investments safe and reliable for when needed, esp during hurricanes....There comes a point where you don't want to cheap out, but also not over purchase, which is why we went with this system for computers/TV/audio electronics, and the brand is one that is used at our workplaces.....

I've been buying APC battery backups for myself and for clients for decades, and they've been reliable. Get one like this for your PC to protect from power outages, and definitely connect the USB cable and install the software that offers graceful shutdown if the power doesn't come back on within a few minutes.
