Works great at providing back up power when there is a power outage. Nice display to tell your power output and remaining charge. Helps to keep my peace of mind when there are storms in the area. Good feeling that my electronics are protected 24/7.

5 stars so far. Haven’t had to actually use this as intended but I’m quite sure it’ll do the trick of keeping the “lights” on when the ‘lights’ go out. Otherwise, giving it the fiver because of the cool display that shows quite a bit of info. I came from a standard Cyberpower batt backup so this display is pretty cool. Was very interested in knowing how many watts my pc was using and this showed that information perfectly. Otherwise, I’d say this is standard APC quality but will only really know when the power goes out. Remember your power consumption needs and buy the right VA for your setup. Thankfully this met my needs… My build so if you have a similar build, this product will work: Ryzen 7 5800x3d MSI X570s Tomahawk mobo RTX 4070 ti 2x16 Corsair Ram 3200 mhz Noctua Nhu12s redux

I have this ups connected to my HTPC and cable internet modem and router. We recently had a power outage in an afternoon snowstorm. After loosing power, we were able to continue using internet for an additional 60+ mins with this. Likely would have been longer, but I didn’t shut the pc down right away since it was in standby mode at the time. It did what I needed it to do by protecting the pc from a hard shut down AND let us keep using internet during work from home. My wife was able to finish a meeting she was on when the power went out.

This unit was bought as a backup for a NAS system and has been in service for over a year with no problems to speak of. It has worked flawlessly during blackouts and has also kicked in during some rare instances of brownouts. Battery life is as expected, and has given me ample time to shut down necessities when blackouts have occured for longer stretches. No complaints, it just works, isn't ugly, and the buttons/UI are intuitive enough. It has yet to fail.

I love the front-panel display - it shows (among other things) how long the unit expects to be able to support the load during a power outage, you don't have to have a computer connected to the USB Data port running the PowerChute program. Very good when what you are protecting is an expensive TV for instance. With a total load of seventy watts this will last almost an hour. But the main reason to have battery-backup power for electronic devices is to protect them from damage caused by dropouts and surges during storms, or when a car hits a pole down the street.

I work from home. We live in the older part of town with overhead utility power. Several times lately I have lost power in the middle of meetings so I get dropped. My cell phone coverage is bad so I can’t use it as a hotspot for my laptop. I bought this UPS so I can keep my cable modem and router up and running when we lose power. My coworker lives in town also and I have been suggesting that gets a similar set up.

These are not cheap but if you have a lot of devices to protect these UPS are great

Bought 3 of this for home to serve as battery backup for my network devices since power at my neighborhood is very unstable. I’ve known UPC as a great brand since forever and so far they haven’t let me down. Love that I can connect my computers and it would give me a great amount of information and I can even consult it online

The APC Back-UPS Pro 1000VA provides the battery life necessary to keep my computer, two monitors, router, internet gateway and network switch running for about 90 minutes during a power outage. The more power drawn the lower the time will become but with my setup the 90 minutes is excellent. This ensures that I will have internet, local WiFi, LAN, computer and both monitors running during a power outage. The 90 minute reading was taken during mid-level tasks running on the computer, I'm sure the time would be a little lower with a full load on the computer. There is a button on the front to silence the alarm that comes on during loss of power to the UPS as well as the ability to connect to a computer via USB. The computer connection allows for setting a threshold to safely shutdown the computer before the battery completely running out. Using this functionality does require installing the APC software to control when the computer shuts down.

I bought 2 of these units (1 for my Pi NAS array and 1 for my home office) and they both work great. The front panel display is great, especially when you are deciding how much load the UPS can handle for your purposes. The NAS unit handles 5 Pi's, 5 multi-terabyte hard drives, one Dell for management of the NAS, a LTO tape drive and a Catalyst 2960G all with only 49% load. The office unit handles my Dell tower, 2 24" monitors, 3 Cisco Catalysts and external hard drives at 40% load. The Windows software is also very nice and seems to be very reliable. One interesting note, if you first set up one of the units and it makes a noise like crickets chirping, don't worry. This is common and the one of mine that exhibited this lost the noise after about 12 to 14 hours breaking in.

Was in need of a UPS for our home PC due to frequent power outages. This unit supplies a good amount of power for what I'm running. And it's a great feature to have the status display built in so that you know what the battery level is at all the time.

Great little UPS for the money. We bought it to use for our router/modem & home automation hub. It fits perfectly, on a shelf in our small hall closet & setup was plug-n-play. I specifically like the display on the front. Best Buy was quick. They got it in & ready for pick up in a day.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. The previous one I had lasted nearly 10 years which is great.

I have this unit on the fiber provider's router as well as few other things. Keeps things up and running until natural gas generator kicks in or power is restored. Great replacement to an older model. More efficient and smaller. Handles load and outages well.

Very good battery back up. As we all know they don't last forever, but I had one before for 5 and half years working 24hrs a day and had no problem. As I said they don't last forever, but I recommend this one because it last me so long working 24hrs a day.

So far, so good! We bought it to protect our TV and PS5 since there were a couple of minor electric outages due to thunderstorms, and we wanted to protect the equipment. So far, it has held up to every hit! Very pleased with the buy!

The battery on my previous UPS failed; I bought this APC UPS and it's working great... this one includes the ability to replace just the drive... I've used APC UPS products before and they are the best in my opinion.

I bought this to provide battery back-up for the router and phone system. APC is terrific, and I have used their battery backups before. They are easy to set up, reliable, last a long time, and work well.
