A: Thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with our unit. I would try disconnecting all the equipment from the unit, disconnect the power cord then the internal battery. While these are disconnected try holding the power button for around 10 seconds. Reverse the instructions to power the unit back on. If the unit is still having issue please out to an APCbySchneider support team for further assistance. We offer email and chat services through our support site. For the fastest service visit our chat at https://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/chat/.
A: I have this on my aquarium drawing 20 watts and the expected run time is 160 minutes so you should be good
A: Thank you for the interest in our products. If the surge were to take a large enough surge that it can't shunt it ground the unit will sacrifice itself to prevent damage to the connected equipment. The protection working LED will turn off on the unit as well if the unit is no longer able to take a surge.
Q: Is the network gigabit or 100 Mbps? I’d like to protect gigabit Ethernet access.
A: I get a full gigabyte connection.
Q: Does this has a flat plug for tight spaces or is it a traditional plug?
A: Thank you for your interest in our products. The BX1000M-LM60 would have a right angled plug so it would fit in tighter places.
A: Yes, you can. I do it all the time for multiple low powered devices. Ethernet switches, Wi-Fi devices, phone chargers ECT..
A: Thank you for your interest in our products. The runtime would depend on how much power the equipment draws. The modem likely wouldn't pull that much but the nebulizer may pull a bit of power. I would just confirm how much power the unit draws. At half load (300 Watts) you would get around 13.5 minutes of runtime. At full load (600 Watts) you would get around 4.3 minutes of runtime.
A: Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately you likely would not get 12 hours of runtime if the unit isn't plugged back into utility. If it is just the unit itself you would get around 5 hours of runtime. Also we recommend leaving the unit connected to utility so it will continue to keep charged. If you disconnect from utility and let the battery discharge multiple times it will shorten the lifespan of the UPS.
