“Can I plug a separate surge protector power strip into one of these plugs? I ask because I don't believe all of my plugs will fit due to the outlet placement on this and the size of the plugs. I don't plan to exceed the number of plugs.”

Yes, you can. I do it all the time for multiple low powered devices. Ethernet switches, Wi-Fi devices, phone chargers ECT..

Please try again later.It is not recommended to add a separate surge protector strip, however, you can use a non-surge protected strip or a short "Y" extension cable to expand the number of outlets. These "Y" extension cables, i.e., one plug and two outlets, are readily available from Amazon at a reasonable price.

Please try again later.it is not recommended, keep in mind they are built for an specific voltage, and what you are suggesting sounds adding more connectors, that would be fine meanwhile you don't exceed the power consumption that the device was made for. Example if you are going to charge 3 - 4 cellphones, i believe you will be ok, but if you are looking to connect big consumption devices like gamer computer or even worst a printer, not your best option. Yes, keep printers in a separate connector from your computer as much as you can to be safe.
