I have a large game system that takes a lot of power. With my monitor, my high end video card, and 900 watt power supply, I wanted to protect my investment. I purchased the APC battery backup system and have been happy since setting it up. I gave it four stars because I wanted to see how long it lasts before I have to purchase another one. Consumer UPS systems typically last 18 to 24 months before you have to replace the battery depending on usage. If it last beyond the 24 months, I will give it the additional star.

Product is easy to get setup and going. I've had not problems to date.

This APC power backup unit is compact and fits very nicely underneath a shelf making it inconspicuous. My experience with APC in the past with older units were that they were reliable so I expect the same from this one.

I have used these in the past. They are very good battery backups.

Battery life is good for short blackouts and brownouts. Battery is easy to replace. Lifetime of battery could be better though.

This replaced a smaller UPS that didn't have enough outlets for all my equipment. On top of having enough outlets it also gives me much more run time, estimated 47 minutes at my load(Mac Mini, ACD, Airport Time capsule and one external drive).

Our old backup died after a power outage. We were able to get this one up and running quickly and it has been working perfectly for us since. Additionally, it's smaller than the old one so that is a big plus.

It does the job I need and at the price that I was happy with.

This UPS works great was easy to set up. I like the LCD panel that reports input voltage, output voltage, expected run time with current load on battery, current load in watts or % or Number of events recorded. With the included USB cable, just connect to your PC and you can set up automated shutdown etc in the event of a power failure.

I have been having spikes in power in my office and this has done the trick. It not only is a battery back up and surge protector but it has also been great to be able to monitor power spikes on the display.

After suffering multiple losses ($5k in damages) during a recent storm that caused several rapid power blips, I decided it was time to invest in some serious protection. I had used surge protector power cords but they did not prevent damage this time. After much research and investigation I knew a UPS was the answer. APC seemed to be the way to go. I am so glad I did. After connecting all my major electronics (OLED TV, Computer & Monitor), I ran some tests simply disconnecting and reconnecting to the wall socket. Absolutely no disruption to the connected devices! Simply amazing! I bought a second one for additional TVs and my high end stereo system. No more worries for me! :)

This is my 3rd APC UPS and I absolutely love it!! I put one of these on each PC in my house. Combined with the Powerchute software, you not only get 30+ minutes of backup power but it will auto shutdown your PC so it shuts down gracefully before all power is lost.
