Very simple to setup and has been very reliable. may buy more for other computer hardware.

So far this UPS unit is doing it's job. We, for some reason, have power drops a lot and this has kept me working without issues. Have yet to test it out for a long power outage but think it will do just fine. I work from home so this was a good investment so far.

I bought this UPS for my security & automation system. I've had no problems or issues. The digital display on the face is a big plus over the older one that this unit has replaced. It constantly keep me aware of it's status.

Still up and running strong over a year later (and we have terrible power issues here)

Puerto Rico's electric power as you know has been very deficient during the last 60 to 70 years. This UPS has withstood the test of fluctuations, blackouts and brownouts for over four years. I definitively recommend it and would buy again.

Product came ready to activate. instructions were simple and to the point.

We have many computers to back up. This has been a great back up battery the display screen gives you useful information

I have my gaming PC and 27" monitor plugged into it and it shows that it only has about a 50% load. Power has gone out or flickered a few times since I've gotten it, and it keeps my PC going long enough to wrap up whatever I'm doing and shut everything down safely.

My old unit finally died & i bought this unit. I have had it for over a month & so far so good. It was easy to install, a matter of minutes which was good. I feel better having this connected to my computer since i don't trust mother nature or Com Ed. It was not all that expensive & is a great preventative maintenance investment should lightning strike & wipe my computer out, it's just not worth taking that chance

I purchased this unit as I have used them at my work. They were great.

....however, I have a hunch that this XS 1500 model may be using the same internal hardware as an older/lesser model such as the NS 1080, that I have been using for a few years now. The internal battery is exactly the same (type and fitment) as my NS 1080, and with only my Cable Modem, Router, and laptop charging while connected to this, the internal fan fires up and cycles every few minutes making plenty of noise. My NS 1080 with not only the same items that I just mentioned, but also with a pair of 27" LG monitors as well...makes absolutely no noise at all. I enjoy silence. I think that they made it possible to have a higher load capacity by running the same guts of the NS 1080 harder, which is why the internal fan has to cycle on and off.

I like the ease - right out of the box, quick connect and off you go.

As soon as I powered this system on with my computer, it told me it needed a new battery. I let it charge for 24 hours, but this message would not go away after resetting it. I called technical support and soon discovered that since my computer had a 1000W power supply, the unit I purchased really wasn't sufficient to support that power supply. Although my computer has 1000W supply, there aren't things drawing 1000W, and the APC software shows only about a 20% load on the battery. So, I was told that I really needed a profession UPS system, not one that would work for the home. This seemed strange. I notice that if I run a battery test after the unit is running for about 10 minutes, it will pass. it only fails after initial startup. I've kept the unit and it seems to run fine.

I use this as a power backup for PCs at the moment but bought it to use as a backup for my Voice over IP phone system's cable/modem. It works great as a PC power backup and am sure it will work just as well for the phone system.

I have been using APC products for decades and have generally not been disappointed, no real exception here. One of the key differentiators is the fact that they work with both 50 and 60hz sources which for me is a real selling point.

The directions are hard to follow. Once the system is set up it works well. Needed to get help setting up though. Also a little bulky in size, would prefer if it was smaller. Also, has limited Input slots. I have been using device for 2 weeks now and seems to be working goo

This UPS has a number of features that make it the best for my set up. With all of my network components supported, I can gracefully get out of the middle of a battle in the latest MMO without having the rest of the team being left hanging.
