I was replacing a 5 year old UPS with this new one. The old one was an APC that worked fine, but was underpowered for all of the new equipment we had added to our office. This unit was just the right size, quiet, and would give us 30+ minutes of up time if we lost power. It took no time to unbox and set up and since then it has worked flawlessly.

UPS setup was easy but the battery indicated it was fully discharged. After speaking with APC customer service, a quick reset of the UPS and all was working as expected.

Works like a charm installed easy and worked with power outages a few days later. Kept two 24 port switches and Linux router up and running while power surge happen.

This battery backup and surge protector is well worth the money. You get plenty of time to save your work and shut things down in a storm. It is very cost effective.

I find most APC products to be expensive but much better quality then all the other battery backups . Highly recommended especially when it is on sale

This device is even better than my previous APC device. It has an option to keep the display on at all times, whereas my older one did not. I like monitoring the line voltage, watts being consumed, etc.. The Power Chute software it comes with is extremely informative and useful. It helps you configure options in the device that you can't configure with the buttons alone.

I have been watching the price for awhile and 25% off was a deal closer. A little large (capacity) for my home system but very reassuring here in SW Florida (lighting capital of the U.S.). Very easy to install, software is very good that is supplied via download. If it wasn't on sale it would of been overpriced compared to other makers. I would recommend APC for your power needs.

Use this to help keep my home NAS from going down hard in power failure or breaker flip situation. This keeps a Dell 715 server and 26 terabyte external enclosure up for approx 10 minutes and has the ability to shut down the server gracefully if the power is not back up before the battery gets low.

Have a few around the house with my main equipment. I have an old house with a lot of brown outs and power outages. After installing them at my computers, TV's, and wifi connection. It allows me enough time to finish up whatever I'm doing and shut it down.

I have frequent power flashes. Very annoying when watching tv. The TV shuts off and the cable box has to reset. Not great for the TV. So I have everything plugged into a power cleaner and that is plugged into the back ups. My neighbor was here when we had a power flash and when my tv didn't go off we both smiled at each other. He went out and bought his own.

These work well from what I can tell, I haven't had a major power outage.. yet. my equipment is still alive. Looks nicer than previous APC UPS models. I can't speak for the shut down software, or any of the other extras it comes with.

I've had this item for just a couple of months now and I really like it. I have had a few power outages and power surges in this short time (which is why I bought it in the first place) and it has lived up to it's advertising. I have a 55" LED TV and entertainment system hooked up to this and it lasted longer than what the box said it would during the last outage. Overall, I am very happy with this.

Easy to use, nice display with lots of info. Works as advertised.

I purchased this particular unit as it has enough outlets to allow me to plug in my 2 PCs, the 2 power supplies for my telecommuting laptops, the HP Officejet Pro and a few peripheral devices. Of course, everything is not powered up at the same time, but the multiple outlets save me from having to crawl under my computer tables to swap power cords every day.

This APC backup system is the best one for the money that we could find. We have two units in our home. One for our in home office that has 2 computers security system, router, printer and other electonics. Second unit covers all the home entertainment equipment.

Has performed as expected { and stated } as it should. Only wish you could add another battery pack to it to increase run time, like the older 1500 xs series allowed you too.

I bought this to protect the contents on my computer. I had some power failures that made it very hard to get my computer booted back up. This prompted me to get a battery backup. Surge protection was also important to me. The APC does everything I needed for it to do with no setup needed. It is truly plug and play.

we have well into 150 of these and love them. very good price also.
