I bought this for my husband who has a Mac desktop computer. This battery back/surge protector was very easy to set up and is a great peace of mind to know that if there is a power outage that our equipment will be protected. We have the Mac, printer and cable box all plugged into this device and it seems to work great

Bought the XS 1500 after a power outage caused a surge and knocked out my desktop power supply. Has already kicked into action once. Had to call APC as the set up sheet included is out of date. No disk included for the PowerChute software. Need to download the software. Had a smaller version that was way past its prime but was a good product. Will have to see how I get through the summer with all the storms in SC before making a final judgement.

I have been using this product for awhile now. It's great for back up of all your electronics especially if you leave them on. With all the lightening and thunder storms here in TX it's a great back up to have. It doesn't take up much room. If power goes out your electronics will stay on and you can shut everything down safely.

Great battery backup, will handle the most power hungry computer or even multiple computers and monitors. Great run time.

Great UPS! I use it to back up my Dell PowerEdge server due to all of the power outages we have and it does a great job.

The UPS came fully charged and ready I feel it was well tested by APC I have had a few power outages with no issues at all.

Have two ISP gateway devices, two Cisco router, and one Phone gateway device. There is hardly a load ont it.

This is for long term care facility. My server for computer systems and video cameras all are connected to this battery backup. No problem can handle that and more. Power may shut down but my system remains up and running. Be sure and follow instructions for beginning and charge for at least 8 hours before use.

Try to catch these on sale. I probably own 12 or so of them and they are all reliable and work flawlessly.

It was on sale, so it’s avlue was btter than a CyberPower. I’ve used APC for years, always been satisfied.

All of my computers are on UPS and they all have APC ones. APC features and power for the price are always good, and they have never let me down, always giving me time to shutdown my computer or power a router long enough to finish the job. Being able to change the battery makes them last a long time.

So far this battery backup has worked flawlessly. We’ve had the power go out a couple of times since the purchase and it has handled it well! Haven’t tested the longevity of the battery under load but it lasts long enough for me to power everything down properly without issue.

I have purchased other brands of battery backups in the past and in the end they were never as good as the APC products. I feel the APC products last longer and like the electricity in your house - it just works. The only time I really have to pay attention to my APC products is when the battery needs to be replaced.

I'm a technician that works with control systems , and I have several of these units in service 22 to be exact. The unit is very reliable for and has been personally tested in various environments (hot , cold & dusty) and applications. Great high end unit before having to go to the more expensive commercial unit.

So far so good. Have not had any power failures so far, but it does work with my NAS to power down correctly from the "tests" I have given it. The power usage is also a great feature.

On the first day I bought this we encountered a storm with light going in and out each second or two!!!! What are the odds!! It totally protected and kept our brand new computer lit up while the storm went away. It looks elegant too since our setup is black too. We love this thing!!

When you need a ups stocked locally these are great. The capacity and price and monitoring is just right.

Very dependable, give me a piece of mind, since I lost a couple of electronics in last storm.

This is a great product to have especially if you lose power a lot.
