My last APC product was failing after 10 years of years. I am sold on APC products so when I needed a new one I went to Best Buy and looked at their line of products and decided to buy this one. Easy install and setup. I highly recommend it

Bought to replace a Geek Squad branded backup which failed after 5 years and a lightning storm. APC is known for a quality product but it wasn't available in the size I wanted when I bought the other one. Believe it will be reliable for years to come......

This is a great UPS for home use. You can connect an LCD monitor, a very hefty gaming desktop computer, your modem and router and still have a good 18 to 20 minutes of battery time before it's depleted. This gives you more than enough time for a safe shutdown. The LCD panel and controls on the front of the UPS make it very useful even just by itself, but the PowerChute software that you can get from APC for free is even better. Just plug in the USB cable to the UPS (included in the box), download and install the software, and you can monitor and test the UPS and see what your current load is. This is a new one I just purchased for my secondary system, but I have the same model on my primary system that has been running for three years now without a single hiccup. I have survived brown-outs and a few power failures with no damage to my computer and no loss of connection.

I have invested lots of money in my computer setup. It seems to do what it says flawlessly. I do like the usb interface to advise me of the health of the unit and power consumption of the equipment it's protecting.

This battery backup works great for my home office server and network.

A must to keep surges from destroying your electronics. Keeps computer or TV running for short periods of time allowing you to shut them down properly. In my opinion one of the better uninterruptable power supplies.

All was fine at first, then the power went out and I got annoying beeping and an error code. After research the error code indicated bad batteries needing replacement. I was upset to say the least since this was brand new. i continued to research and found that there could be a false reading from the batteries. I was able to reset the batteries and have not had any problems since. Works well for my home network.
