These batteries are perfect for a few switches in the data closet.

Had to purchase another UPS since my older one is dying and just making that warning noise. Easy to use and install, just make sure you have floor space enough to fit a standard CPU as this UPS is pretty large.

Good solid product. Not so intuitive instructions.

Great product. I used this intermittently after we lost power during Irma to watch TV on digital antenna, keep the grand daughter entertained with dvd's, and check the security cameras around the house.

I have a couple of these now. They work great and look fantastic.

Good battery backup. When Hurricane Harvey passed through, I lost power for short periods. I was able to continue running some items that were plugged into the unit. It give up to half an hour of power.

I always use a UPS to eliminate any electrical power spikes and failures on any expensive electrical equipment including TV's. There are cheaper UPS's, but APC last the longest and work the best !

So far this ups is working fine. Haven't had any power failures yet so I can't really say anything about that yet. It is a very easy setup and plenty of plugins to keep your electronics safe. A good buy.

Just because it costs a little more than the other brands doesn't mean it's expensive. When you have almost $3000.00 worth of audio / video equipment plugged into it or that new PC / laptop with family photos that are irreplaceable you want as much quality protecting it as possible. I have used APC for 20 years now and living in the lightning capital here I have not had a single failure to my equipment being protected by APC and I have serviced a LOT of blown equipment protected by cheaper units. So I ask, who paid more. :-)

I've bought a few of these in the past and also tried the Cyber Power matching units. The APC are superior in lasting power over time or several years. Also, the Cyber Power units feels like half the weight.

Current unit replaced same model I had had for 3 years+, but whose battery failed. (Replacement batteries do exist, I eventually found, but manufacturer's web site offers wrong one.) This unit is lightly loaded (about 140 watts) for a 1500 VA model, but has begun failing periodic self-tests, after which it reports battery needs to be replaced. Best Buy no help without extra protection plan. APC says failure due to my use of an 800-Watt Power Supply that draws too much spike current during self-test and therefore offers no solution other than I use a smaller power supply. Cycled unit with computer shutdown and it did seem to cycle OK, including a period of battery-only connection. So I now plan to ignore the irritating failure alarms occurring once or twice a day and trust, when I really need it to work during a power outage the unit will anyway.

Great product, the back up is amazing, I had an energy cut for 25 minutes and never stop working on my computer. Good price for this unit, strongly recommend.

Suffered a failure of an old hand me down UPS which took out a NAS with lots of pictures and music on it. Realized just how much stuff I had added to my office that really should be on a reliable UPS.
