This is a decent UPS but the Back-UPS Pro is a better unit for the same price.

Works as described, use UPS for my entertainment system. Bought on sale from Bet Buy making it even a better deal then a lower power rated UPS, glad I went for a larger rated UPS since I had a problem before with the load almost being too much for my old UPS.

UPS was easy to set up. Protected my network appliances as expected when I needed it.

APC makes great products. The best! They last forever and never fail.

Decent coverage for larger devices or longer battery life. Would recommend.

So it works great but about 2 months after I bought it, it started alerting me that the battery is bad and to replace it. I pulled it out and reseated it with same error once a month or so. Power has gone out and the battery takes over as it should so it is not a bad battery, just seems to be a bug with the unit stating battery is bad when its not. Still works fine though.

When the battery backup failed on my server after 5 years of service , I ran straight to Best Buy and purchased a new Back UPS 1500. I shut down my server plugged it in and I'm protected. Simple as that. Digital Display show time remaining on battery based on load, incoming voltage, etc.

APC is the de facto name in UPS products. There are other good products out there of course but you can't go wrong with APC. Support, warranty, consistency keep them where they are in the business. This particular product is great for medium to light heavy use. Small servers, heavy workstations, phone systems, etc.

This is a really powerful UPS and handles all of my equipment with ease. I also like the monitoring software but it is a bit difficult to find and download. I had to contact their customer service who promptly sent a link to allow me to download the software.

My previous backup finally wore out (same brand, had it for years). Would recommend

APC makes a great set of products and this UPS in particular is fantastic. A slim profile, it tucks up against the underside of my desk nicely out of the way and provides a lot of plugs. My Mac Pro Can is well supported and so is my work environment

With software, this unit will power down my computer safely when the battery runs low on power. Protects the data in my system and the computer do to power loss. Wouldn't run my computer without it. This is the fifth APC UPS I have purchased.

This is just another example of the quality products that ATC makes.

Very nice UPS, no concerns. Appears to be made with good quality parts. I tested it be unplugging from the wall and my computer didn't even flicker. I get about an hour with a high powered desktop and 19" LCD.

Bought in August. A week later during a self test got a message that battery needed replaced. Called APC. They were very nice and shipped a replacement immediately Got it 2 days later. Works great since then. Nice people to deal with.

APC continues to make Back-UPS in all sizes and features, and this is no exception. More than enough for backing up the modem, router, printers and whatever else you want to make sure power is always flowing to when an outage or surge occurs..

This backup UPS is a terrific product. It is not too heavy. It can easily be carried from place to place. After it is installed it works flawlessly. I can replace the battery pack several times before I have to replace the entire unit.

I bought this to replace my outdated model and because I wanted something that had a longer back up time then my original all in I think it's great it's quiet and hadn't had the chance for the back to come no power outage recently

so far, so good. works as advertised and it should last longer

For some reason the power goes out for very short periods of time where I live. Everything has to reboot so I have 4 of these and they keep that from happening, this not putting a burden on the televisions/Computers etc.
