Outstanding and reasonably priced. If you have odd-shaped plugs you will need power cable adapters with standard plug profile if you want to use all the ups power outlets. Not the fault of APC but engineers who think it's cool to design a plug the covers two or more receptacles regardless of where you plug in their device.

Very, very easy to set up. Be sure to read simple instructions and go through LCD as you do. I charged to 100% before plugging in my LED 60 " TV, Onkio AV receiver, Directv receiver, wireless gateway, BD player and 3 other lesser items. No problems encountered. I have used APC for years and have found them to be excellent.

I have had this for about a month now and it is doing good so far. I haven't had any power outages yet but that is coming in a couple of months when summer is here. I have my modem, router, switch and NAS plugged into this. At current load the display is saying I should get somewhere close to 2 hours of run time.

Needed an UPS for the office to house several PC. With ppl in the office using heaters and other items that would spike up power when they are turned on, I wanted to have something that will keep the line clean for these PCs. I got this primary based on the sale price vs other vendors.

I was surprised how well this held up our server as we had intermittent brown outs during construction and we never lost power to our server. It has a decent battery life nothing great but enough for a short power outage or when you have a brown out.

Unit works well and has stood up already, had a brownout due to heat here in Vegas and the UPS, worked without a hickup. Had more than enough time to shutdown the computer, and was able to stay online on my laptop as the internet was still up. This unit is a life saver for those who use computers for work.

My APC 1300 unit finally came to the end of its battery life after 7 years. It never failed me, so I replaced it with this one. I wanted more outlets which is why I didn't bother with a new battery and passed it on to a new user. This unit is compact and has an informative display.. The addition of a mute button is a welcome addition. If the battery life turns out to be anything close to what I got with the old unit, I'll be very pleased. I considered another brand that features a "pure sign wave" output. Tech support for my Cool Tech computer said it wasn't necessary. This may not be true for all makes, so you might want to check before purchasing.

Just last night we had a storm and the power went out for 5 minutes. I never would have known if the lights didn't go out too. My TV, DVR, Computer and Phone all stayed on and didn't even blink when the power went out or when it came back on. I love knowing that my electronics gadgets that I paid all that money for are safe from surges and will work for about an hour or more during a power outage.

We use many of these devices for backup of servers. By far the best one we have come across, we've had one die after years of use and easily swapped in new batteries and its works as it did brand new. I wouldn't buy anything else!

Great product, has many outlets to centralize all my electronic devices near my computer work station. I have peace of mind that my computer and other delicate devices will be safe for a number of minutes during a power outage, giving me enough time to turn them off, preventing data loss.

I've had APC UPSs for many years. This "XS 1500" is the best I've had so far. It looks great, and I love the display on the front showing my voltage, charge, and load. Everything you need, including a mute button. I have it powering my computer and 2 monitors, and it's not even at 25%.

I've been using APC UPS's for about 15 years and prefer them to other brands. I also like the design of these upright models because they provide plenty of backup power with a minimal footprint. It also makes the controls and display easier to access while still sitting at a desk.

Compact size for the amount of backup provided. Display is easy to read at a glance.

I had an earlier model of this same power supply. It worked great for so many years I thought I'd get another one. It works great! It gives me extra time to safely shut down my computer, etc in my office whenever storm season arrives and power interruptions occur.

This my second APC Back-UPS 1500. Although they are a little pricey, they work extremely well. This one was a replacement for a different unit that I had bought several years ago. I have been using APCs in datacenters for years and would gladly buy another (when the time comes)

Easy to set up and start using. Heavier than you think it should be.

We recently had a power failure that lasted over four hours. My desktop computer and wi-fi were connected to the APC battery backup and we had power available for just four hours. I will purchase another one of these for my other computer network.

This has been a solid UPS for me. I feel confident that power outages or brown outs wont harm my PC, will keep my network alive and keep them all protected from surges. The readout on the front is nice and the ability to mute is even better.

I have two others of the same model and they just work. I also use the Powerchute software that comes with the UPS to automatically shutdown the server before the battery runs out.
