I purchased it to replace another one that burned out. This wonderful surge protector has a 6 ft power cord and is just what I needed. Best thing is that it has an LED indicator to alert you when something is pulling too much juice so no more burnouts. -8 outlets (4 regular outlets and 4 transformer spaced outlets for larger plugs) -LED lights alert you if you are overloading the plug -2 USB ports - there are little sliding covers over the individual outlets to keep dust out when not in use.

This USB + plug-in surge protector is slimmer than I thought it would be which I like. The extra USB ports are a great addition as well.

Great product! 8 outlets come in handy when using it for your entertainment center and the USB ports come in handy when charging my phone. Definite wouldn’t mind picking up another for the office.

Never had a problem with electrical surge since I use this surge protector. I live in South Florida where thunderstorms occur often and can be really impressive. The public electric infrastructure is totally outdated and electric surge occur on a weekly basis. My whole home theater system is hooked to the wall via this surge protector, so far so good. I like the green light indicator to let me know that everything works as intended. The two USB connectors are also very convenient for modern devices.

Great surge protector. This would be my second one. Ive had my first one for a few years already with no issues whatsover. Plenty of ports with ample spacing in between ports. I love the usb ports. Its very convenient to have so i can charge my usb devices without taking away any of the outlets. Another thing i like are the plug covers. Each outlet has a slide cover to prevent dust or accidental access ie kids from plugging things in. Its a great safety feature to prevent accidents or damage to dust.

The junior version of the 11 outlet surge protector is just as excellent and useful. The outlets are spaced out and positioned almost as well as the 11 outlet version. I use this protector when I'm setting up electronics for a day of watching football outside (the USB ports charge our phones) or when I need to power for the Christmas Tree for a few weeks. Its size is perfect for sticking between furniture and the wall or under a sofa.

APC has always been a good brand for surge protector and battery backup, this is a very good item with usb charging, no problem at all.

I have used a ton of Surge Protectors in my life (probably more than most people due to my career and home technology setup). I really like the APC and APS brands as they do a great job protecting the equipment along with the insurance and warranty they provide (Although i have never needed to use that). This is one of those items it is better to have and not need then to need and not have. Most the equipment i have plugged into these devices are 4-5k plus per outlet so i need to protect my investments from Surges, Spikes and god knows what else can kill them. This should be a requirement for any electronic equipment that you wish to protect. There are many other brands out there, but i tend to side with what i am familiar with and what works well. This is one of those products. Just be sure to replace them when recommenced (maintenance that is associated with any device) (if recommended that is). Overall great product and would buy again. I personally have 4-5 of these in use throughout the studio and theater.

I buy these all the time for various computers in offices and other areas of a large chemical plant. It allows for multi-use outlets off of one outlet and provides protection. So far, with a few power outages over the past few years, nothing seems to have failed, and they have proven reliable. Unfortunately the only way to ever truly see if these work to their extent is if they fail, they seem to hold up well, and the reviews speak for themself.

Not as advertised. Ad stated UL listed but no where on the item or packaging does it indicate that. The college requires UL listed/registered items or they are not able to be used, per fire regulations, rendering this useless to my student. Also have a problem with plugs not being able to be fully inserted.
