THIS is how you produce a 4k disc worthy of a masterpiece film. The movie looks CLEAN, as if it could have been released this year. It was like I was staring through a window into my backyard if my backyard was 1969 Vietnam. Coppola said he wanted the audience to FEEL that napalm when it hits and I can say he accomplished that goal. The low frequency Sensual Sound by Meyers is a unique touch. The audio in this movie is amplified by the Dolby Atmos track. Overall its as perfect a 4k disc one could conceive of.

Been a while since I had watched this and the 4k DID NOT disappoint. Love seeing the older films brought back in 4k. The black levels and colors throughout the jungle scenes are on point. HDR and Dolby Vision plus the Dolby Atmos soundtrack make for a gr8 home theatre experience. To see all the actors when they were so young in their careers is nuts. CLASSIC FILM you must have in your library if you are a movie nut.

Any Coppola fan who wants to watch a classic film that’ll make you think and is not your typical Vietnam movie

Movie is a classic, it looks great, too bad they used really cheap and weird packaging for the box set

This movie brings me back to my youth. Not only is this the last movie made with Marlon Brando but it also features an all star cast. Brando's performance is stellar & offers a final entertainment kick for his fans. Also Robert Duvall, Harrison Ford & many other young actors give a great performance that would launch their careers by getting some recognition, would go on to become distinguished actors in their own right. I am glad to see it finally available on Blu-Ray.

Great movie now enhanced!! A classic made better! Worth the price of the enhanced version!

The movie is great and I believe they have done a good job of remastering the movie for 4K blurry release. There are better looking transfers for old movies like this, but this one is a good one as well. If you can purchase the digital version that is also worth it as I can't spot many differences between the Bluray and the digital version in normal sitting distance.

I was not expecting how good this set was going to be! I got it thinking "well it's going to have the Final Cut but I wonder if I'd have to purchase a different bluray to experience the other versions. I was very pleasantly surprised when I realized while opening it up that it not only has all 3 versions, but they are also all in 4K as well! Also looks great on a shelf.

One of the best movies out there depicting the negative side of the Vietnam war.

This is a classic movie. Good transfer to 4k. Various versions, over kill.

I love that there’s three very different versions. It really takes you into different timeframes to really understand what the creative forces were thinking at the time. I saw the Redux version with director commentary and that just added another very flavorful and educational layer to this movie. If you love Coppola you’ll really love this!

this version of Apocalypse Now is better then the first one we like it alot

Apocalypse Now is, without a doubt, one of the seminal works of Francis Ford Coppola. It is also a film that's very hard to watch because it portrays a horrific side of humanity, during the Vietnam war. I, however, consider it a must in any serious film collection. This version also includes the documentary Hearts of Darkness, which is as good, if not better than the movie. Highly recommende.

I respected this film the more times I watched it and the acting and shooting everything on location just transports you back to that time in history. I still like the theatrical cut as the extended versions do drag the story but good to see in retrospect.

This movie looks like it could have been made this year, not 40 years ago. The 4k/HDR on this is great. There is good detail, the colors look awesome, and the movie itself is entertaining. One of the classic war films. The soundtrack and Dolby Atmos is really good on it too. This is definitely a bargain at this price for such a high quality film.

One of the greatest all time war movies ever made. I enjoyed this one from start to finish. I could not take my eyes off the screen. The action in the war scenes can not be matched in any other movie of this type. I loved it, and will watch it many times.

Not my favorite movie, but my husband loved it. One of his favorites.

This is old but gold to have movie that shows erra of Vietnam war.
