This movie is a favorite of mine and love this 4K release. To start, the packaging is very nice. The film looks great and I like that it has the new edit as well as the redux version. I believe it even has the theatrical version- all three in 4K. Sound is excellent. And comes with the making of film as well. I would have paid double for all of this content.

My first time watching this movie, and it is very entertaining.

I’ve been grabbing a few 4K releases on sale recently and Apocalypse Now was among those. This 35mm film transferred to 4K UHD is among the best I have seen so far. It’s up there with The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Jaws. You can really tell they spent a lot of time and money on this one. This should be in everyone’s 4K UHD collection.

This is one of the best restorations I have ever seen. The video quality is natural and sharp, almost as sharp as modern movies. The audio is loud and clear as you would hear in a movie theater. On top of that, the movie is a masterpiece. Beautiful art cover and a nice set of 6 discs. My only issue is the discs can be difficult to put back in. Overall, this is amazing.

Can’t believe it’s been 40 years since I’ve seen this in the cinema but I will tell you this it’s never looked better and it’s never sounded better your Dolby Atmos speakers and the rest of your surroundsound will get a great workout I highly recommend this movie I don’t think it will ever look better than what it does now in 4K enjoy

The 40th anniversary edition is absolutely beautiful! The package is quite thick for a single movie edition, but includes 3 discs for the 3 included versions of the film (theatrical, Redux, and Final Cut) and a ton of special features. Well worth the regular price, but I got it on Black Friday for an absolute STEAL! One of the best catalog 4K restorations to date.

For an old movie, the 4k disc looks amazing! The best ive seen so where you can see the difference in quality. For the price and the amount of content you get, its worth the money, especially if your a collector. The movie is top notch. Wont say anything so you can watch ot for yourself, but a warovie worth watching.

Stunning 4K release of Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece "Apocalypse Now." This, the "Final Cut" is Francis' last word on the subject. Great package includes both other cuts, the documentary on the making of the film and more. Picture-wise, the 4K is astounding! I've had them all from laserdisc to dvd to blu ray and, believe me, this one is a showpiece.

Great Movie! Includes 3 versions which is a great deal in itself. 4K transfer is pretty good considering the age of the movie. Very entertaining and thought provoking movie. Martin Sheen does an excellent job as well as Marlon Brando in their portrayals of troubled soldiers in a turbulent war.

4k quality was really good ! Allways a good watch.

The remaster of Apocalypse Now looks amazing, there are many shots that would fool you into thinking they were shot yesterday. The sound is also great. The extras it comes with are incredible detailed and cover about every aspect of production. It’s a great release.

This is the 40th anniversary of Francis Ford Coppola’s director’s cut that film critics have been waiting for. And it is truly worth the wait , A slightly shortened version from Redux but absolutely a must see along with its classic look and presentation. A must have for any war movie fan!

I had bought the "20th Anniversary Director's Cut" several years ago. But this version surpasses that. Not only is there a "Final Cut" of the movie, but also Apocalypse Now Redux (in DVD and 4K), as well as "Special Features" disc. This package is definitely worth the price I paid. I highly recommend it.

Coppola really went all out for his Vietnam opus. Finally putting all three versions of the film into one convenient set, the disc also includes the documentary “Heart of Darkness,” about Coppola’s struggle to get the movie made in the first place. First rate 4K transfer, this film finally gets the treatment it deserves in the home media market...

This movie has to be one of the best use of hdr. The colors just pop off the screen. It's crazy that this movie was recorded 40 something years ago. It definitely doesn't appear that way from the image. It also uses meyer sensual sound and delivers with great use of bass. Gun shots can be felt with authority. Definitely a 2 thumbs up on this one.

Others appreciate the filmic quality of picture grain but unfortunately, I am not one of them. Like The Shining, Air Force One, Karate Kid and others.....the upgrade to 4K uhd was worth it in most aspects but film grain is still is very annoying for me.
